We live about 45 miles away from this Target. Mostly farmland surrounding us, we shop online for most of our needs.
Taking my granddaughter into town for a shopping trip is always a major treat for her. Target is always a destination due to my RedCard and it's discount.
Walking around the store, her eyes sweeping up and down the aisles, she happily tried on different pairs of jeans, shirts, swim suits, etc. Face beaming with happiness, we filled our cart with her purchases.
Getting to the checkout counter, we noticed there was only one line open. It was early, about 8 30 A.M., so not a big deal.
Except..........the girl at the checkout clearly didn't want to be there. She sighed loudly as we arrived with a cart full of things. Grabbing items as we put them on the belt, she seemed to feel as though we were interrupting her texting time.
Finally rung up, I tried to use my RedCard, but the chip reader wouldn't work properly. I tried it 4x, but it kept saying, "Card Reader Error." Ok, well, when that happens, you just punch it in manually right?
Wrong! This girl couldn't be bothered. She literally told me to just use another card. When I asked her to try it manually, she said she didn't have time. I said I wanted to get the 5% discount and she told me that I should write to Target headquarters to get the money back!
If my granddaughter hadn't been standing there, I would have walked out the door, leaving the stuff at the counter. But I didn't and used another card.
Later that day, we were down the street at Walmart. Their customer service was exceptional, and their prices were half of what this Target store was offering.
I am cutting up my RedCard and never shopping at Target again if this is the best they can come up with in...
Read moreGrand Forks Target Drive up Service is second to none. The team members are kind, professional, and prompt. They work hard and provide customers with a convenient service. Itâs convenient for the customersâĶ not necessarily convenient for the employee to do the shopping for us. I try to always remember that they just did all the work for me, and express my gratitude. I am very grateful for the drive up service and express my gratitude and appreciation for the service. They often have to work short staffed and pressured to be timelyâĶ.. I thank the team members and never express frustration if it takes a bit longer than Iâd like. Afterall, I certainly could have gone into the store and shopped for my items myself. I am grateful for the wonderful service that Grand Forks Target Driveup...
Read moreDON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TARGET TECH!!! I love the store itself and give it 5 stars, but this review is meant for the tech department. They vendor out a third party named Marketforce to activate cell phones through carriers such as AT&T and Verizon. I went to activate new service with AT&T and chose the Galaxy Note 10+. I put an $800 down payment on the device using the Target Red card which was charged onto my card but never credited to AT&T and has been unable to be found in their system. I spent 4 HOURS with the representative just get the phone activated and have my payment lost. Nobody can tell me where this payment went and I am currently working with the Red Card dispute center... just go to the actual Verizon or AT&T store if you'd like to activate...
