MIXED Pharmacy Review: 1 Star/5 Star
The 5 star goes to one person who was unaware of the whole situation until after days and my final attempt, I called for management on duty and that was Shannon - who was extremely helpful, thankfully. I want to commend excellent customer service along with what was an understanding and compassionate nature that she displays in stressful situations. She was thoughtful, kind, helpful, polite, and calm.. while I was anxious, confused, and frustrated following the prior week's events.
1 star: Have you ever been gaslit so hard, you know, like by someone you trusted? This is like that. We're supposed to trust our pharmacies. I will spare identifying detail for the very reason that it is not in my character to bring someone down, for I believe truth is always revealed. I should have never been told [repeatedly, mind you] that the prescription was ready, or would be here tomorrow, when it was basically held captive day after day, after day. This ultimately interferes with patient healthcare. To double check my confusion before I persisted I called other, local Walgreens' pharmacies and they informed me that the situation wasn't at all being handled properly. They mentioned that there are procedures uniformed across all Walgreens' pharmacies The person at the window who engaged in most of my interactions from the beginning, wasn't personable or ready to handle customers with care, but was quick to dismiss my concern or questions. They also failed to explain their brash ultimatums. All in all, I was made to feel by two people specifically that I was abnormal to think I could possibly pick up my full script, when they continued to assure me it would be ready "this day" or "this time" or crazy to think that I could have my full prescription. With how individuals were behaving and one displaying effortless physical signs of concern, I am intuitively and most sincerely questioning what may be taking place. Instructed to come back the next day [again], I ultimately stated I had been given the run around over and over and wasn't leaving the drive-thru line until I was given my prescription.
We all have bad moments and I'm empathetic and understanding that working in a pharmacy would be stressful and demanding so I do try to give the benefit of the doubt. The doubt won after all. However, I also have intuition, intelligence, and self-respect to know when something is off.

Read moreSince Rite aid closed in Spring Lake, most of the prescriptions were supposed to be transferred to this Walgreens Store. It has been a Kaotic mess for some. Having to call corporate office to check on the prescription so they can find where it is stuck in the system at . . . But to be fair, I must report that a handful of other friends have reported no problems with their transfers.
However, everyone has committed on the long wait time for picking their medication up. We are all hopeful time will improve top quality...
