Amazing customer service! Ashley and her staff went way above and beyond what I considered "normal" customer service for our family! I live in Texas and was coordinating the Groomsman's Tuxes with the Grand Island location for my family that lives in Nebraska. The plan was for my family members who were in the wedding to get fitted, and then later to pick up the Tuxes in Grand Island, to then have in their possession to take with them on the drive to Texas for our wedding. Well due to a problem with Shipping (FedEx) one of the Tuxes was left behind at a regional shipping center, and never made it to the Grand Island location on the scheduled day of pick up. So when my family arrived the day before their departure date for Texas, one of the Tuxes was not at the Grand Island location. (At no fault of the G.I. Men's Wearhouse, it was FedEx's lack of oversight) My family lives about 50 miles away from Grand Island. The manager Ashley tracked down the missing Tux, and then had it personally delivered by one of her staff directly to my family's front door the very next morning so they could stay on schedule with their travel plans and make the wedding schedule as originally planned. We were all very thankful for such an amazing gesture of professionalism, and unparalleled customer service. I have never had a poor experience at any Men's Wearhouse, whether it be Lincoln, Grand Island, or Allen Texas. Every single location has been fantastic in meeting all my personal or event needs. Thank you Ashley, and Staff in Grand Island, for handling a situation that could have been unfortunate for all involved. Read moreCustomer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. Was told multiple different things by different employees. When the rental did arrive 3 days before the event we picked up the rental tried it on and the pants were extremely big. The customer service woman Marty made a statement that if we choose to go to a smaller size we will be charged extra if we rip the pants out. Then proceeded to tell us that there was no guarantee that the new pants would be there in time for the event. When we went in to pay for our suit we were told by the shop in Lincoln (where we got fitted) that we could make payments on the rental and Marty stated that we had to pay in full when we were there or they would cancel our order. She proceeded to be rude towards my husband and blamed it on having a bad day because she spilled her coffee. When we were calling to get the pants exchanged she proceeded to threaten to hang up on my husband because he was explaining the situation and said he was yelling at her when in fact he was simply explaining what the issue was. Read moreVery disappointed. Paid $250 to rent a suit for 48 hours that didn't even fit. My husband was measured 5 months before the event, then came in for a fitting the day before the wedding since we are from out of town. We immediately pointed out that the jacket was too small. He couldn't move his arms because it was way too tight in the shoulders and the bottom button couldn't close. The salesman said "you aren't supposed to use that button." Well, all the other groomsmen did so not only was my husband very uncomfortable the entire time but in all the photos he looks bigger than he is because the jacket is too small.
The button covers kept coming off and the shoes were so uncomfortable. ALL the groomsmen changed shoes for the reception because of how painful they were.
Horrible experience.
I do want to point out that I do understand that weight gain can occur in 5 months BUT not only does he weigh the exact same as he did during the original measurements but he has always had broad shoulders. The fit at the shoulders/back made it difficult to move his arms! Just terrible and...
