Went to get a new band. Band was fine, owner said my battery was going. He said he could change it. Told him Shinola said I had to sent it to them for such service. Owner told me he could do it. Well he took the back off and I guess it was beyond his skill set. He did not change the battery. Worn it a few times, went down by the river and now there is moisture in my watch. He carried out significant repairs on a vintage gold timepiece and performed a complete overhaul on my cherished circa 1970 Omega. Impressively, he fine-tuned the Omega to exceed factory specifications, improving its accuracy to lose only one minute per week. I can think of no finer watchmaker, whether here or in the UK, and offer my highest...
