Coloradough: A Sweet Gem in Grand Junction!

Coloradough is hands down the best donut shop in Grand Junction, and I can’t stop raving about it! Their kronuts are absolutely out of this world—crispy, sweet, and downright delicious. Every bite is a little piece of heaven!

What really sets Coloradough apart, though, is the people. The crew is always cheerful and happy to take your order, making the experience feel like more than just grabbing donuts. The owners? Incredible. They go above and beyond, often hooking customers up with free donuts or even breakfast burritos when you show some love on their Facebook page. It’s such a generous touch that makes you feel like part of the family.

I’ve never thought a donut shop could bring so much joy to a community, but Coloradough proves it can. They’re a fantastic addition to Grand Junction, and their positive vibe and delicious treats are a win for everyone.

My only suggestion? Let’s get some peach-flavored donuts or kronuts when peach season rolls around—because that would be epic!

If you haven’t tried Coloradough yet, you’re missing out. Support local, and treat yourself to the best...

Not sure what changed but this went from being our favorite Daylight to least. A dozen "pick your own" donuts and 2 breakfast burritos was ~ $50! We were offered salsa ($0.50/2oz cup) and green chili sauce ($1.50/2oz cup). We got one of each and weren't aware they charged for them until we looked at our receipt. The burritos were the biggest disappointment because they used to be premade and in a warmer on the counter. When we ordered, we thought they were going back to grab em since it was still pretty early. Neither of the ladies working said anything about them being made to order and that we'd have to wait about 10mins. Once we did get them, the burritos were super hot and then wrapped in foil. So by the time we got home, the tortillas were soggy from the grease and condensation. They also don't throw in donut holes like they used to when you buy a dozen. Most of the donuts were good but anything with filling was questionable. Under new management maybe? Very disappointed in the lack of clear expectations and communication...

So I think I reviewed the wrong store at first. There is a amazing southern women at the north Ave location, I have never had any place make my coffee perfect, she did it! Absolutely best coffee I've ever had, and the donuts she picked the perfect assortment for my family!! They are always so sweet and thankful for our service. I saw some comments about how they run out there out for the day...coming from a restaurant that makes everything to order, some people don't seem to realize making 1 or 2 things for that 1 person takes so much product the amount of product loss would be more then your profit, some small local business don't have the extra thousands to throw away for that 1 guest. But they have plenty of delicious other options, maybe a good time to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. Could be a blessing in disguise. I appreciate all these local business that have stayed strong and are still there to serve me , my family...

Holy smokes!!! I never thought I would be so impressed by a Donut Shop as I have been by Sweet Coloradough! I stopped by on a road trip not expecting much; I was blown away as soon as I walked in the door. This shop has unique, amazing donuts in addition to great coffee, Colorado themed apparel, and a little mini put put course! For the donuts, you are getting a good helping (size) with awesome flavors like German Chocolate, Maple Bacon (with fresh bacon), Maple Cinnamon Roll, and Croissant Donut Holes. They also had a few vegan options which is important to me! Lastly, weird comment - but I love that they gave me an iced americano with a *mostly* sealed lid so that I could add my own creamer and give it a thorough shake. This was my second time visiting Grand Junction and this experience alone made my visit worthwhile. Thanks team at Sweet Coloradough! Wishing you lots of good business for many years to come!

The staff is really awesome even though we literally pick each donut we get specially, even down to details as small as what sprinkles are on each one. We go get 1 dozen 1 day every week as our donut day and my kids and I are very picky. It is great that they have a card they punch every time you get a dozen and after so many punches you get a free donzen. The staff are always polite, energetic, and patient every time. There is a good size space for you to go sit and enjoy your food and coffee and there is always such a good selection of donuts to choose from. We like going every week and will continue going for a very long time.
