Ralph Stocker Stadium — Attraction in Grand Junction

We were there for Special Olympics. It's a nice size facility, but when there are big events going on it can be difficult (if not impossible) to find a parking space. The track and field are well kept, the bleachers are nice, just make sure you sit on the east side in the morning, or on the west if it's in the afternoon. There's a decent snack bar under the east bleachers (bathrooms are also located there) only complaint really, other than parking, is that the west side bathrooms leave a lot...

NO PETS ALLOWED! This is a nice facility. Unfortunately, the only way you can find out their pet policy is to show up with a pet and be told at the gate, "No pets allowed; its a City Ordinance!" If you look online the only pet related information is available is that they be leashed and pick-up after. We had driven eight hours for a high school football game only to be forced to make last minute arrangements for our pet. Come on, Grand Junction, get a clue and post...

Stocker (pronounced stoker) Stadium is the football field. The baseball diamond is Suplezio field. They are separated by the concessions and restrooms on the ground floor, an open air deck, just above the top of the grandstand, for HC on the second, with view to west to observe football, and east to watch baseball.
