If I could give this place a Negative star I would. This is the story straight up with NO HATE INTENDED... I went to this guy on 10/15/2015 for an install in my Cadillac. 2 Brand New 15" Subs and a Brand New 8'000 Watt Amp. He says only $75.00 for the install. Im like cool. Best Buy was super backed up so, this was seemingly next best option. I dropped my car off. Picked it up about 4 hours later. I was such in a rush to get back home I really didnt check the work. These fools bolted the amplifier TO THE SIDE OF MY LEATHER INTERIOR. Just straight up drilled holes in my sh__ and it's an 8,000 Watt amp so within seconds I could smell the heating against the leather which is what caused me to pull over and see what the deal was on my drive home that night. Not only that but my subs didnt even seem to be working and on top of that my Amp had a Red "Protection Mode" light as if something electronically was not correct. (This is all within 2 or 3 minutes of leaving the shop, Driving on North Ave. I didnt even make it to K-Mart before I started smelling the burning). It was already about 7:30 or 8 PM so I couldn't take it back that day for repairs or whatever because he was closing. I went back bright and early at 10 AM the next day 10/16/2015. NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN HE IS CLOSED (That day is NOT a holiday)! I waited and Waited until about 12PM with NO ONE ARRIVING TO OPEN THE STORE. I made several calls to the numbers located online / on the building. 1 or 2 numbers are no longer good and the one or 2 that were valid, I left a voicemail, totally disgusted and pissed off by that time but said nothing rude via voicemail. All I wanted was for him to correct his install and do IT RIGHT. So after about 2 hours of waiting and waisting my Friday Off day, I went to look for more help. I called around a few places and they ALL SAID that this place is NOTORIOUS for botched / bad mobile audio installations and is rumored to have local High School Students working installation. ????? SMH. I just at this point avoided any further contact with this dude because I feel straight up disrespected all THE WAY. My ride cost a LOT f money and this MAN just freakin drilled holes in my interior. Like would you do that to a Ferrari too? A--hole! ($575 Estimate from Cadillac to remove the interior trim panel and replace as new). So I didnt even go to ask for the stupid $100 I gave him back, Hella Mad, and going down there, A story will come to life and Government would get involved so I'ma just leave this Man alone. He can KEEP THE MONEY. To resolve my issue, I was referred to Russell's Garage in Clifton. After hearing my story I think Best Buy referred me to Russell's because they were booked for about 3 weeks out and I couldnt even pay OVER to have them just look at it. The number for his garage was no good when I called but, I just went down there and, he was able to look at it right away. They corrected my issue, which resulted in me buying 2 brand new 15" subs IN SHOP (Thankfully they had some otherwise I would have been S.O.L.) because the other pair I hadn't even taken out the box before installation WERE BURNED / BLOWN due to the scenario at R&R Discount. Warranty for those speakers is another battle not meant for this review (Now they are sitting in the garage collecting dust) but man let me tell you AVOID THIS GUY. I dont see how you could be in business when everybody's talkin bad about you. I didnt even go down a third time to request my money, it would be nothing but BS so and straight up... Man to man when your drilling holes in someones $50,000+ Car... Theres Nothing to even talk about... Anyway... On decks check what it comes with the deck, this store will charge for harnesses that are included with your deck purchase, the store is going to charge you from $45. to $140. For a harness that comes with your purchase,also brackets are included with your deck ,the store will charge you $100.for brackets for them , consult with Best Buys you might save up to $70. To install a deck this store will charge you $140 to install the deck, at Best Buys your installation will be around $70. So check around for your deck, everything at Best Buys is less expensive than R &R but it's up to you. Let me just say.. this appointment ended in a hug. Angel was the person who installed my subwoofers, and got my car audio sounding new again. I had been needing my subwoofers installed for months because i had a blown back speaker that sounded absolutely horrible, and he was so very nice, and so helpful. He knew exactly what to do so that i didn’t have to listen to that blown back speaker rattle anymore. The job was seamless and way more perfect than i could have ever imagined. It was professional, and only $240 plus a tip because of how amazed i was at how good eveything looked and sounded. If i were to ever get anything done again, i'm calling R&R Discount Car Audio.
