Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Grand Junction

This may be a long post but worth the read. So a few months ago we went in to have lunch. We spent a significant amount of money there. The service was TERRIBLE!!! the waitress was rude and extremely unprofessional. There was rude comments and eye rolls. When it came time to pay she walks up and hands the check directly to my husband and just walks away. Mind you we had a party of 7. I found it rude to assume he was the one paying. So I call later that day and get pulled around before FINALLY being able to speak with the manager, Megan. I told her what happened and she told us that we could go in with the family again and get a FULL meal on them! I was extremely appreciative of the kindness from them. So fast forward a couple months and we go in to cash in our free meal. The waiter this time was phenomenal! He was on top of things and extremely kind. But as we are eating we hear Megan talking about "we have been more then gracious to them, dont let them take ant food! Dont even let them walk out with a water to go!" We are not sat close to the cash register. We were sat down further. So for us to hear that seemed unprofessional from a higher up manager. I cant say who they were talking about or what the situation was that they were pertaining to but I didnt think it was right to have that handled so loudly. I am extremely grateful for how willing they were to right their wrongs and make a bad experience great! I just think that they lack professionalism at times. Tonight turned out to be an overall amazing experience and I wish I could remember the name of the young man that helped us tonight. Thank you Megan for all...

We went for the lunch buffet because we use to go often and now it's back. But don't bother unless you have plenty of time and love pepperoni pizza. Lots and lots of pepperoni pizza. When we got there, the salad bar, breadsticks and pasta were all pretty empty. Breadsticks came out soon, pasta took at least 20 minutes and we had to ask for more lettuce and plates, which both took quite a while. There was one server for the entire restaurant and when I asked for more plates, the busser said the server would have to get them. The entire hour that we were there, only a couple pizzas came out that were not pepperoni and they were both were covered in mushrooms and onions. I would have been ecstatic for just one pizza in that whole hour that was plain cheese or Hawaiian or sausage. Basically anything but pepperoni and onions. We never did get a refill of water and both of our glasses were completely empty. We finally gave up. At least the server agreed to only charge me for the salad bar since I never did get any pizza. She said they have been getting lots of complaints about the variety of pizza on the buffet. Or more accurately, the lack of variety. We won't be back, which really sucks since this is the only pizza buffet...

Great food. Extremely poor service.

We brought our kiddo here for his birthday lunch. At first it was a little amusing to count how many workers would walk by us while we waited to be seated... Then it became less so as we spent the rest of the lunch after finally being seated being seemingly forgotten. We received dirty plates to eat off of, our request for silverware forgotten and no check for drink refills. Finally the adventure ended with me retrieving our to go boxes so that we could get out of the workers way as they were powwowing with what looked like a manager on the other side of the restaurant.

I remember coming here with my own family as a kid and it being a treat with fun and friendly servers. Not so much anymore. They might as well close down the dining area and just do delivery at this point since they just don't seem to care.

The food was hot and fresh....
