The Lincoln park is gorgeous! I mostly go to the pool where the entrance fee is only $6! They have plenty of kid friendly options such as two toddler spots, one has little animals that spout out water, the other is a shallow pool for toddlers and parents! The regular pool is 4 ft deep all around and pretty spacious so even when it is crowded there are spots for people to swim still! They have a deep end where people can try to touch the floor, three diving boards (two short and one tall), and 3 swimming laps! They also have a tubed water slide! Probably my personal favorite and the view from the top while you're waiting is gorgeous! You can see the book cliffs, the mesa, the whole valley honestly, all while overlooking the rest of the park too! Seating can be tricky due to it being busy. The shady areas that are close tend to fill up fast and there are only a few tables there. It is easy however to set up camp a little further from the pool and there is a massive tree that provides shade. The parking is combined with the arena so it can tend to fill up fast. There is a snack shack for people that get a little hungry at the pool and their options are very similar to sports concession stands except with more variety. They're fairly priced considering they're the only option besides take out. I've seen people playing volleyball in the park, there's tons of shade, walking their dogs, and having picnics!

Read moreThis park is so pretty and well kept that whether I stop in for a quick poochie potty break, or on nicer days hang out on the grass for a bit with her, it is Always a very nice place to visit. When I moved to Grand Junction in July, there was only one park I had been shown. After finding Lincoln Park to be so much closer to our home, we started visiting more often. Also, with it being such an inviting and comfortable area helps a bit too. Since my service dog is getting up there in age, she only really wants to do her business and go back to her blankey, but she seems to like walking around a bit and checking smells. Beautiful park. Good Job 👍 Grand Junction. Another well kept park for all who enjoy being outdoors.
Please make sure that Citadel Security knows the "actual" hours of the park. The website clearly states 5am-12 midnight. The security officer just said, "no it's 10pm"....
Read moreAlways love going to Lincoln Park. Especially because it's nice to be able to walk there with my daughter. She has 3 kids and my other kids and husband and is able to enjoy the playgrounds and the picnic tables, and I am able to enjoy time with my family out at Lincoln Park. It's not a far walk from my daughter's house, especially cause she has 3 little ones. So it's great to be able to have a place that's right there for her. Where we can enjoy time with our grandkids and kids And if you also want to enjoy some time there, there's a pool that you can enjoy with your family as well. My babies are still a little too small for it, but if you enjoy swimming, you should try the Lincoln...
