My friends and I were passing through Grand Junction on our way to a campsite outside of Moab, UT. We are from Pennsylvania and we’re not familiar with the area. We found Quality Meat Co on Google maps and stopped in to buy some steaks to cook up at the camp site. The gentlemen at the counter could not have been nicer or more helpful. This market is SUPERB!!! I can’t say enough good things about this shop. I live in Texas and wanted a nice steak dinner for my father on Father’s Day even though he lives in Grand Junction. My father is almost 90 and must be careful in times of corona virus. The butcher put together a selection for my dad and loaded it into his car without him getting out. Zero contact for an incredible selection. They have even offered to open the store early so my father can shop alone. My father cannot stop raving about the quality of the steak, salmon, and pork. I fancy myself an above average home cook and the quality of products from Quality Meats out shines even the fanciest butcher shops from the front range. The beef and pork is amazing regardless of the cut and they have a lot of cuts but the lamb was the stand out purchase. Even the meat in the "economy" package out shines many restaurants and I almost had to buy another freezer to fit it all.
