espresso tastes rich and smooth. notes are strong and not too acidic. they use cat and cloud as they’re roaster (which in my opinion is high quality). the aesthetic is quite different from any other cafe i’ve been too. it’s very 70’s themed decor and has lots of seating and cute tables and lamps. perfect for study or lounging in a comfy chair. the service was pleasant and laid-back. we ordered a macadamia nut liquid gold (a mouthful to say but a must try to drink), biscuits and gravy, and the “cheap trick” (avo toast). there has never been a coffee shop i’ve been to that offers macadamia nut milk, and it was so smooth and creamy. i was quite surprised. biscuits and gravy were mid. gravy seemed a bit bland and meh, but it was still good. they have good chunks of sausage in it. “cheap trick” was good. they give you just one toast (pretty small) and a side salad with this tasty vinaigrette. i put the greens on top of my toast with the vinaigrette drizzled on top. it really went well all together. they offer traditional sized coffee drinks as well as 8, 12, and 16oz sizes for a latte. i got an 8oz latte and it was just perrrfect. simply delectable. one of the best lattes in grand junction I ASSURE YOU. they have pastries as well (vegan) but the selection was pretty slim. they have wifi and some trinkets for purchasing. parking lot is small but doesn’t get too packed (we came on a saturday morning). really really recommend if you’re looking for great coffee and wholesome food options.

Popped into this local coffee shop for a meeting a few weeks ago and was thrilled to see a Turkish delight, chai tea on the menu. Chai tea with oat milk is my new favorite drink so I was happy to try a different blend. Savoring each sip, l could not identify all of the spices but it was decadent! This is my new favorite hot beverage! The shop does not have a drive-thru but it is worth it to pop in just to gaze at the eclectic, decor. They also have a nice little outdoor seating area, which is perfect for sunny days. Located just off of 5th and North avenue it was easy to access, however the parking lot is very small and there are a couple of other businesses that use the same lot. I would not recommend bringing young children here as it's close quarters. More of a first time date, get together with friends, or sit and do your homework type of place. The staff is fabulous, friendly, and full of smiles! The first time was such a positive experience, l went back again yesterday. Same great service, extremely delicious tea, and some yummy baked goods as well. Highly recommend you check Copeka coffee out!

Copeka was awesome! I was really thankful to find a menu with more than one vegan option while visiting a friend. I had the biscuits and gravy and, while it's not much to look at, it hit the spot and kept me full for the morning. The coffee was decent and the staff was great. I was there for breakfast (having been told that they can get really busy, I figured we'd make it our first stop of the day). Plan ahead to make sure you have time to wait for your order if they are busy! I really enjoyed the vibe and could totally see hanging out, studying, etc. here if I were going to be in town longer. I really enjoyed the vintage vibe and aclectic furniture. They had some good tea options and other "lighter" food items. I'll definitely be back!

6/19/2021 2nd Visit Exceptional quality, service, and business values that we're excited to support!

We loaded up on Americanos to caffeinate the adults and breakfasty goodness for the whole family, and snagged another bag of "The Answer" for our CA to WI trip. Pure deliciousness! Plus, they were able to fill our travel mug with drip, so we're happy to have that option available again to reduce our waste. Yay!

4/3/2021 1st Visit We stayed in Grand Junction last night, during a long roadtrip, and needed a caffeine jumpstart to the day. This was an excellent find!

They took great care in making our americanos, and the shots were pulled perfectly. My husband and I have been in the habit of ordering triple shots with a dash of cream, considering how weak and tasteless many coffee shops pull their espresso; however, we truly didn't need the "extras" in these drinks! The staff was also exceptionally helpful in answering my questions about bean processing and brew ratios, as we needed some coffee for our destination, and I intended to buy a bag of beans.

Feeling so welcomed and impressed with their service, I was tempted to order a con panna. Unfortunately, they didn't have whipped cream, so I'll make myself one later with their beans. I was given the impression from other reviews that this business holds high standards for ethical and environmentally-conscious operation, so it makes sense to limit menu offerings to meet these standards. The mention of these values was one of the reasons why I wanted to spend my money here, as opposed to national chain businesses. Plus, it's best to support local business whenever possible!

I especially appreciated their attention to pandemic precautions and safety measures, as this trip was to help care for an older family member.

I didn't set out to write such a lengthy review, but I hope describing my experience helps others decide if this is the place for their next caffeine fix. Thank you,...

I love this place, truly. It's been my coffee shop of choice in GJ for years. Their coffee on its own is excellent and well worth it. However, I finally tried eating here today and it was... Not good. I spent $11 for the tiniest slice of "toast" I've ever seen in my life, complete with scant toppings on it and a few chunks of pineapple on the side.

It felt so expensive for what I received that I let out a sad laugh when I realized how much I had just spent for this. I'm not a good cook, I could have made a larger iteration of this "meal" for $1.00 at home in 5 minutes. I get that costs are rising everywhere right now, but it's unreasonable to charge anyone $11.00 for the toast dishes they have here. I could see $6.00 as it's more of a snack.

I'm all about supporting local, and I'll still recommend them for anyone looking for a good coffee shop. The food is very disappointing though, I'll definitely steer people clear if they want a reasonably priced, well prepared and worthwhile, breakfast. Disappointed for sure. It wasn't even tasty or unique, which at least would've made me feel better about what I was paying for. This toast reminds me of what I would call a "sorrow meal" - one that you make for yourself at 2:00 AM in a fit of desperation using whatever ingredients you have leftover in the fridge before your...
