Definitely not authentic!!! I'm not sure how they made the chicken look neon orange. The rice tasted like they bought one of those seasoning packets from Walmart and added it to the rice. The beans had no flavor. The most sad part is that the roasted jalapeño tasted like it had been boiled and then roasted. And to top it off, their Horchata was slimy and watered down. Coming from a mexican household and knowing what good mexican food is supposed to taste like I can only feel sadness for this place.

Ok we been traveling from Boston back to California and let me tell you - in the whole trip by this chicken is the best . Looks goooood but it taste even better . Beans and rice on point . 0 gamy taste very fresh . We bout 1/2 chicken for the 3 of us and we devoured it so we had to by a whole chicken . Wow really grte . We wish this business best of fortune and many blessings . Keep it up guys . Grte job it was well needed . Also is called pollo asado-> grilled chicken . So so so good

Was wanting some good Mexican food and in GJ there is a lot of places that just don’t offer that and are overpriced. Tried this spot on a whim and was not disappointed!!! Had enchilada plate togo This was a solid unforgettable experience. The chicken was tender and full of flavor The red sauce was spicy and tangy ! Beans and rice might be some of the best I’ve had in the states ! Do yourself a flavor and give them a try !!! Hint: fire salsa is delicious and not too fiery

Pollo Asado in Grand Junction, Colorado is one of my go-to spots for delicious and affordable food. The chicken is particularly great and always cooked to perfection - it's juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of charred.

What's even better is the low price - you can get a full meal with rice, beans, and a drink for just a few bucks. It's amazing value for money and one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Another great thing about Pollo Asado is its location. It's conveniently located right next to Distinguished Barber, where I get my haircut, so it's always a great option to grab some lunch after my appointment.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Pollo Asado to anyone looking for a great meal in Grand Junction. The food is delicious, the prices are low, and the location is perfect. Give it a try next time you're...

you gotta be kidding me!!!

walmart sells FULL rotisserie chickens for $7!! why the hell would you buy a $22 chicken here? if, your not a walmart person, then go to city market! their whole chickens cost $9.

lmfao@ some of these reviews 🤣 " best tacos ever" haha, seriously, low standards, low bar there! wouldn't you say? honestly, it's not rocket science to make tacos or ANY mexican meal.

I will say, I'm surprised to have a place like this in gj! the food is good, don't get me wrong, filling& it has that "healthier" feeling when you see it& eat it.

but!! WAY over priced & everytime i ever ate there(different location/my dad liked it there)..I couldn't shake the feeling& knowing I could make any of this for less than half of what I'm paying...or what my dad was paying, he'd treat me to...

I might give 4 stars in another location with more mexican options, perhaps, but this place is good! They make good food, and their chicken is definitely the unique thing to come here specifically for. That said, I actually find the chicken meal to be a lot for one person for lunch, and so have gravitated towards their pastor and pollo tacos, which are great and still come with the signature whole pepper (I get four tacos, not sure if there is a threshold at which the pepper appears). The small touches make this place both feel nice and local, and also the whole pepper that comes with various menu items really keeps me coming back because it's like rolling the dice on the spice meter, which is fun and delicious. Also, as others have mentioned the pickup window is perfect and safe for...
