First off, I have had nothing but positive experiences with this business until today. I purchased two joints today with card, the total was $18.68 after a 15% locals discount was added. I was charged $19 at the register, plus the usual $3.50 atm fee and the total was rounded up to $20 and I was given one dollar in change (which is common dispensary practice, for whatever reason), for a grand total of $23.50. What is not common practice, however, is telling me they “don’t do change” when I asked for the remaining 32 cents that was reported on my receipt. They told me it was something to do with rounding numbers. Now, usually the company adjusts the prices to the tax rate to make the out-the-door prices nice and round. Based on this receipt, that total tax rate comes out to about 26.7%. Looking at the original price of one of the joints on the receipt: $9.47, plus the 26.7% tax, which comes out to $12 even, as advertised online. This means my total without the 15% discount would be $22 even. This is what they mean when they tell me they round numbers, and I have no issue with it. However, I did have the discount. The total for both joints pre-discount was $17.36, after it is $14.74. Add on the tax for a total of $18.68. I was charged $20, which means I am owed $1.32 in return. Pretty straightforward. This has nothing to do with rounding product prices to make the numbers even, this is rounding the price up at the last minute without telling me to keep 32 cents. You may say 32 cents isn’t worth complaining about, but you multiply those small numbers over a year of transactions and you end up making a lot of extra cash the customer didn’t agree to give you. Do with this information what you will, and always check your receipt. Edit: 3 stars down to 1. What a joke of a response from this business. What gives you the right to round prices up at all?! If you charge me more than what is on the receipt, that’s not “rounding prices”, THAT’S THEFT! This is about more than 32 cents, you do this on every transaction! If you overcharge (sorry, round up) by up to 50 cents on every transaction, you’re recouping a significant amount of money every year, right? A significant amount that the customer did not agree to give you, correct? Hmmm, what do we call that? If some stoner dude can see this, then you as a business are certainly aware of what you’re doing. And what exactly are you doing here anyway, trying to guilt trip me? You do realize you can provide that great locals discount AND provide full change like EVERY OTHER DISPENSARY does, right? I would suggest getting rid of the rounded prices instead if you have such problems with transparency and honesty. Otherwise, you need to make it plainly visible on your website and the place of business that you always round up to the nearest dollar so your customers can at least know what’s really going on.

Disappointed with my experience at The Buzz is an understatement. Worst dispensary experience I’ve had. The staff was incredibly rude and had zero interest in customer service. As I was walking out I tossed their receipt and bag in their trash bin (as I’ve done this in multiple Denver dispensaries which actually have recycling bins as well for that reason) and was told very bluntly that it was “against the law” to throw away trash there and to “not come back”. Seriously? That’s the energy they’re giving customers? No hello, no help just attitude. Plenty of other dispensaries out there that actually appreciate your business. This definitely isn’t one of them.

Great staff! Great store! Great product! I am so Happy to have a local 'Pot Shop' so I don't have to drive to Parachute to get Great Deals. Literally in my old geezer life, I can drive down to the Buzz and legally buy Great clean grown Marijuana... Ganga Bless America.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up but this is a super rad little dispo that is definitely worth stopping by. For how small it is they have a pretty decent selection of product to accommodate most price ranges. I snagged a $93 mix & max ounce and the flower is great. The young lady that helped me was super kind, super helpful and very informed. Solid addition to the dispensaries on the western slope!

In regards to the person that left a one star review: You can see the bag of shake you picked out clear as day through the glass and had ample opportunity to look at it in hand before you gave them your money. This place has plenty of other flower to choose from at great prices. I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say you’re either blind and didn’t feel the bag before you walked out or you were shopping with a...

If there was an option for zero stars, this place would earn it. My partner and I have given this dispensary more chances than we should have, and every single time the result was the same — trash product at premium prices.

The flower here is dry, harsh, and downright unpleasant to smoke. Instead of a clean, smooth high, we both ended up with identical headaches every single time. That’s not a coincidence — that’s bad quality control.

What makes it worse is the ridiculous markup they charge for this nonsense. They’re selling bargain-bin weed at top-shelf prices, and it’s insulting.

After several trips hoping for better, we’ve finally learned our lesson — this place just doesn’t care about providing good product. If you value your money, your health, or even just a halfway decent smoke, go literally...
