The restaurant was clean enough. There was some old food on the walls but the tables were clean. My fiancé and I immediately noticed that the soups looked old and hadn’t been stirred in a while. Having worked in the food industry, I can easily spot when something has just been sitting for a few hours. We came in around 7:00pm so I understand that we arrived after the dinner rush. However, the food was blatantly old and had a film on top that would’ve turned a street rat away. We noticed on the wall it read “good, Really good” in regards to the soup. If you are going to make such a claim, I would at least expect one of the 3 employees standing around to stir it. Both of our soup dishes tasted bad and made us regret having bought them. My sandwich was fair and her salad was a bit on the sweet side. The side of bread was stale and hard. It needed to be soaked in the soup in order to be edible. For a place that charges nearly 30 dollars for two people to eat a substandard portion. I would expect good food. Especially when the worst part of the meal was the thing the restaurant was known for. The service was okay and I have no complaints with the people. Just a ridiculous price for a horrible product. Unless you are here in the morning when the soup is fresh, don’t bother. It’s obvious that no one involved cares about product quality and...

ZERO STARS! My coworker and I placed an order for delivery. They delivered, but half of that order was missing. Called them to inquire about getting missing items delivered (their meals aren't exactly cheap), and they told us to contact the driver. We have no way of knowing who out delivery driver was as there is no contact info on the receipt or "order tracker" on the website. Called them back to tell them this, and they were very adamant that GrubHub delivered (again, we ordered straight from the Zoup website). They offered me the GrubHub number, which I took. Called that number and was connected to DIRECT TV. Got the GrubHub number myself, spent forever on the phone with them only to find out they were in fact NOT the entity that delivered our order. So, called Zoup AGAIN and was told I could not speak to a manager and that I needed to call back because they were busy.. all the while, my food is sitting on their counter! They also stated many times that they will not refund my money, which I never asked them to do. I just want my food delieved. They kept insisting that I "just come pick it up", although I have already paid their delivery fee and obviously cannot come pick it up hence WHY I ORDERED DELIVERY. The staff here refuse to own their mistakes or even talk to me! Now I have paid $20 plus a delivery fee for food I...

Disappointing to say the least. My wife & I swung through because we heard they have a "choose two" type of a lunch menu which gives a half sandwich/have something else portion. We're retired and the smaller options fit our appetite just fine. We both chose a sandwich/salad combo. My wife the Cobb salad option and me the Caesar salad option. The sandwiches were hot and tasty but the salads were ridiculous. Caesar salad not made with Romaine? Cobb not made with iceberg, Romaine or some such? No. Both made with their so-called "lively greens." Shame on me for not asking ahead of time, I took the term "lively greens" as a moniker describing the freshness or something about their greens. But no, "lively greens" are a mixture of spinach, arugula and kale. Barf. We've eaten at other restaurants during certain greens shortages i.e. Romaine shortages and they stipulate that the Caesar will be made with iceberg or some such. I guess this must just be their standard fare. Color me fooled I guess though I suppose I should never assume in today's world of roots and berries. If you like spinach, kale, arugula, roots and berries, this is you place. #neveragain

Oh, and I forgot, $28.00 (plus tip) for that was way too much deniro even if the salads had the...

Due to a short lunch break, my visits to this wonderful establishment are rare so being able to meet a friend here, for lunch, was a treat! The weather was so nice that we sat outside on their lovely patio area enjoying a light breeze and some shaded sunshine. They're wild, chicken and rice soup is my absolute favorite!!!! However, today I tasted the Thai ginger chicken soup and went with that. Excellent choice as when I dipped my delicious cibatta bread into the broth, it melted in my mouth! I always get the soup and salad combo as it is both filling and light. They're also one of the few places in the valley that has unsweet iced tea. If you mix a little of the dragon fruit or lemonade into your tea, you have a low sugar, fabulous drink! I love that they let you have samples of the soup so you can try before you buy! The restrooms were extremely clean as was the rest of the venue. The staff is always very polite and kind, patiently answering nutritional questions about their food. I highly recommend this soup for a satisfying, relaxing and delicious meal

I gravitate towards soup and sandwiches when I don't feel well. I can get pretty sassy when I don't feel well. The staff at Soup were patient and listened to my complaints. I misunderstood the menu on the Uber Eats App. I thought I was missing an item. I panicked and was rude. The woman I spoke with on the phone was calm and friendly. The reason I'm going only 3 stars is because this was my first and probably last time I'm going to order here. I am staying at an Airbnb to catch a flight. It was extremely disappointing to see the macaroni I had ordered was only half full. Nothing can be done about it because it isn't worth paying the Uber to get this fixed. I have to order more food now, bit from somewhere else. It is what it is. The woman owned up to the mistake. I respect that. She was very calm and polite even though I wasn't. I sincerely appreciate that.

Overpriced sandwiches, paid over $6 for a roughly 3 inch sandwich (mine was $0.10 more than my partner's), and we didn't find out until today that aioli is mayonnaise, so he wouldn't eat his sandwich anyway. Mine (Tuscan chicken) barely had any meat (cut thin) or peppers (there were 3 little pieces) and it was greasy, all I could taste was bread and oil except for two bites. We ordered soup and sandwich combos, and the soup we ordered (chicken pot pie) was alright, nothing to brag about. If we go back to Grand Junction, we'll forgo returning to Zoup! and get Subway if we do sandwiches again.
