After driving home for 8 hours on our family vacation, we got to our hotel and everyone was hungry. We had several options, located within half mile of our hotel, however decided to try a new pizza place. We are loyal dominos customers but thought we would give your business a try. We called and placed our order at 10:30 PM. We were told it would be 35 minutes. We struggled to keep our children awake long enough to eat dinner as everyone was obviously exhausted after spending all day on the road. 50 minutes later our pizza still had not arrived, so we called to find out how much longer until our food arrived. We were polite when reminding them it would be 35 minutes and 50 minutes had already gone by. They got very defensive and explained that the order did not go in on time and also that their driver was "kinda old and drives slow". The call was ended abruptly to which we chalked up to a bad connection. We waited another 10 minutes and called back to ask how much longer. We were hung up on by the employee who we had just spoken to. We immediately called back and asked if they indeed hung up, to which they replied "yep I hung up on you" we immediately asked to speak to the manager, who came on the phone and was even more disrespectful and rude than the previous employee. They instructed us not to "get mouthy " with them and that they had no idea what was occurring as they were in the back making pizzas. They called the driver and called us back to let us know she would be pulling up in a minute. In total, from placing the order to receiving the food was 62 minutes. Had we been told the wait would have been that long due to being busy or something, that would have been understandable and we would have just chosen something else or opted for carry out as it is 2 miles from our location and would have taken 6 minutes to get our food fresh. The manager told us the time she left and the time she got here was 43 minutes later, resulting in pizza that was not at all fresh, and 3 extremely disappointed children. The driver did not apologize or comment as to why she was so late. To top it all off, our order was incorrect and not at all what it should have been. Also, inside the pizza that was made wrong was a very crumpled up coupon for a free pizza at their location. This experience was the last thing our family needed at the end of a long day. The worst $26 ever spent, especially when we had several other better and more convenient options. The staff at your location is extremely disappointing and should not be allowed to work in a customer service setting. I've order delivery service a few times once they deliver our order to GladePark which is. 45 away from where we are we called a couple times the first time was told they were running behind but two HOURS later they were calling us lost. It wasn't two nd a half closer to three hours later did we get our cold pizza.. We thought okay honest mistake its been about 6/7 months later We decide to order delivery again nd We order online this time since we had the problem last time We called an hour later to confirm our order to our address. We were told they was NO ORDER for our address or number I asked them to check.with the other store same thing no order for our address or number.. I run to the pizza place up the street make an order and 20 minutes later get a call from my daughter saying that the pizza just got there. It took them OVER an hour & half before We got our pizza that THEY told me We hadn't ordered.Once I got home and fed my hungry family I called & asked for a manager to let them know that their customer service MISINFORMED me & the past problems I've had with them. Read moreOrdered pizza to my hotel room- I had a business zoom meeting in my room - was clear in the address, name of hotel, and room number to leave outside the door. Made sure to pay extra tip for the delivery (ahead of time). Received several phone calls 35 minutes after I ordered - with no message- that I couldn’t answer as I was in the middle of a presentation. Had to step away to answer and when I was able to the “manager” on the phone was angry with ME because he stated the driver couldn’t find the room- and I had to meet them outside. Seriously, if it’s your service to deliver food to someone’s home, work place, or local hotel- which was offered- and I paid extra tip for- why the attitude towards me the costumer because the driver can’t ask the front desk how to get to room 300? Pretty simple- 3 floor and follow the sign to the rooms listed to either the left or the right. I can’t believe how shamed I was by this manager- who didn’t even give me a chance to explain I was in the middle of a meeting- not that he would have cared. Too bad.
