Manns Cinema 8 — Local services in Grand Rapids

Incredibly comfortable posh recliner seats I expected to see in California or Arizona where I’m from and where a high population and rival theaters compete to woo moviegoers with more and more luxurious options. Lo and behold, I’d never sat in a reclining theater chair until this experience and I will never want to sit on anything else for the rest of my movie theater lovin’ life.

Btw, the movie ‘Death of a Unicorn’ was probably never going to reach my expectations. Looked great on the trailer. The full movie was a massive swing and a miss. My daughter and her friends (age 11) went to see a movie. My daughter can't have carbonated drinks because they give her a sfomachache and the candy is too sticky for her braces- therefore she couldn't buy anything to eat. We let her bring a smoothie and some chips, but the workers rudely said " you(points). Bring that over here you can't have that. I'm gonna take it from you." They rudely addressed her and didn't even try to listen to why. All the workers are complete and underly RUDE. The theater is a MESS. I went to see the F1 movie on June 27, 2025 and it was a pretty good experience. I bought tickets online but for some reason they didn’t show up for the cashier so I had to pay a second time (so I’d recommend actually buying tickets at the theatre) but besides that, the movie was excellent, staff were super friendly and helpful, theaters are clean, seats are very comfortable as well.
