I've never had any complaints about Nopo. On the contrary, I've even brought friends from Minneapolis there when they visit. My recent visit to Nopo was sadly my last. I ordered 2 small coffees with oatmilk, which came out to $19.50. I was told the reason being is because oatmilk is hard to come by these days. I don't drink dairy. I only drink oatmilk and it's actually more common to find these days. It's not ideal to charge $2 extra for a small amount of oatmilk and tell customers oatmilk is hard to come by. An entire bottle of organic oatmilk costs $6 at the most. A week later, I went to a Duluth coffee shop and ordered the same order except for medium size. Same Duluth coffee brand with oatmilk. It was less than $4 for each coffee. Being from the East Coast and only exposing myself to organic products, not even in New England at any upscale coffee shop, would they charge $19.50 for 2 small coffees with oatmilk. The only excuse is that this was wrongfully charged in which I asked if this was correct and he responded yes it was due to...
Read moreWe were seated right away by the waiter. He gave us our menus and waters, but then we sat there for 20-30 minutes and were not addressed by any staff for the rest of the time that we were there. Neither our coffee order or our food order was taken. We ended up leaving and were bummed we didn’t get to experience the coffee or food. The atmosphere was great and the music was great. Our experience overall was very poor this time and that was not the case in June when we stopped in to have coffee on our way through town. Please share this with the waiter who was working on the morning of 2/22/25 (today). I’m only trying to help him...
Read moreWe visited NoPo for breakfast and coffee and were very impressed with the aesthetic and design of the café. However, the service was not impressive. We had a party of 4 and were the only other dine-in table, it was not busy. Serving staff chose to chat and catch up with each other behind the bar while we waited 20+ mins for our coffee and another 20+ mins for a pre-made apple turnover. I have no issue with the staff chatting and being social with one another, but when customers are waiting for their orders and we can see the staff behind the bar not working while we wait for our drinks, that is when I become unsatisfied with...
