Sleep City Mattress Superstore Grapevine — Local services in Grapevine

Bought Purple split king mattress from Sleep City on 9/2/2020. They were at the New York State Fair and the salesman was Justin Jordan. We paid by check. The business is located in Arlington, TX. Justin said we would have the mattresses in 2 weeks and they would bring them inside the house and set up. They were supposed to call a day ahead to set up a time. Did not hear from Justin at all. We called several times and he always said another week or they were on the truck. On 10/14/2020, Justin's manager Isaac called and wanted to know what he could do. I said we wanted our money back because we're sick of waiting and Justin never calls us. He kept saying what can I do to make this right. Again, I said we want our money back. After telling Isaac several times we want our money back he finally agreed to refund the money. He did not know how long it would take but, we would receive a check. We filed complaints with The NY Governor's office, The NY Attorney General and the BBB in Texas. On 10/18 I walked outside and the mattresses were sitting in the driveway. They never called or rang the doorbell. We called Justin's phone and he did not answer. Called the store and they said they would have Isaac call us right back. We wanted them to take the mattresses back. Isaac did not call until the next evening. I said we do not want the mattresses if this is the way his company does business and that he said he was going to issue a refund when we spoke on 10/14. He said he could not stop the delivery. I asked if he even tried and he did not answer. I said we wanted them to pick up the mattresses and issue the refund. He said no and that there was nothing we could do. We are waiting to hear back on our complaints. Do not do business with this location. They tell you anything just...

Wow! Is all I can say. Actually, let me say more. This company is so attentive and very knowledgeable on their products and willing to recommend beds to you that you didn’t even ask about. They are honest too, I had searched for a Reserve Plush bed that no one carried but they did (and honestly I thought they were pulling the wool over my eyes but I was wrong). I had done a lot of research, and I MEAN A LOT OF RESEARCH, as in 3 weeks of research. They were not pushy and even reached out to me saying that they could give me an extended warranty on my bed that the manufacturer doesn’t even give. They also do an extended sleep trial which is longer than the manufacture gives. The showroom was very pleasant too and not the hovering salesmen like you get in every other store you go to, and I have been to a lot because I have been through 5 beds in 5 years and my husband made me research our next bed (which I bought a Stearns and Foster Reserve Plush). I have had a bad back and had a microdisctectomy in my lumbar region about ten years ago. They also gave me a mattress protector for free (which works because I tested it out before putting it on my bed, no blue coloring went through to the towel I had underneath it.) Trinidad and Daniel, thank you! I can’t wait to sleep on my mattress tonight and by off chance this doesn’t work I will definitely be responding back. If you hear nothing from me, all is well and a goodnight’s sleep. Also, they got it in quicker than I expected. So kudos to this team. I came in a little later in the day to this Sleep City (recommended to me by Dylan while he was at the 20&Cooper store) just to try a few mattresses I had in mind that I had tried at other mattress stores.

Sean and Niko greeted me, I let them know what I was looking for, and they were able to help me out and convinced me into a better line of mattresses; offering me a price I couldn’t refuse. I wasn’t planning on buying at that moment but they both gave me confidence in my purchase, and that if there are any issues after the fact, they will fight tooth & nail to solve it. Before I even received my mattresses I had a change of heart, and Niko was still able to accommodate my needs. I don’t mind the peace of mind.

Niko helped me all the way to cash out, even after they had closed. They attempted to minimize the dent to my wallet which I definitely appreciate lol. Great people to do business with, I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a mattress or massage chair if you’re into that. Don’t hesitate to call (or just walk in like I did) to see what they can do for you. Thanks again fellas
