I didnāt catch the owners name, but he is a gem. He was very kind and welcoming to me and my 3 children (ages 5, 6 and 12). He articulated the knowledge he shared EXTREMELY well. I had never heard of his store before and was looking for a āhistorically accurateā costume for my 12 year old son (he loves war history and wanted to be a WW2 soldier for Halloween). We found much more than a costume (no disrespect intended, itās actually military clothing, not cheap material made for one night). He helped us get as close as we could to the time era, my son Landon, was looking for. Landon was in awe as soon as he walked through the door from this gentlemanās collection of items dating back to the first war! (At least thatās the earliest I had noticed, he very well could have had earlier collections.) He is very knowledgeable and educated all 3 of my kiddos on random items throughout the store they were curious about. One example is, He tought Landon how to read the dates on the clothing (they have specific codes on the inside tags/stitching). We did find a āPrivate First Classā coat and pants. Also found an undershirt for $1! The prices are very reasonable. He threw in a couple little accessories including a belt for the jacket (cannot remember what the pin is called), and also gave us a good deal on other items. Landon said he has never met someone who loves war history as much as he does and he enjoyed every second interacting with him. He asked if we could go back soon, of course the answer is yes! Landon started his collection with a book from 1970 on hand to hand combat training. This store is definitely worth checking out. You will come out with some knowledge about history if nothing else. Thank you, sir, for your kindness and patience. I will tell everyone i know about our positive experience...

This has got to be the cleanest surplus store I have ever been in, fully stocked with amazing things. If you have time to kill talk to the shop owner his knowledge is amazing. you have to take a walk through their āmuseumā. At the front of the store is a few isles of military history that would amaze any veteran.
The most mind blowing thing for me was that as much military mindset, knowledge and dedication that this type of store needs to operate, this guy never served. To me his service to this country is through what he does in this store!
If you are passing through do yourself a favor...
