Two River Deli — Restaurant in Grayling

Nice clean deli but lacking in some areas. Stopped in on our way down-state. We got 3 sandwiches for lunch, and it came to about $50 without drinks. Overpriced for what you get. The sub bread was nothing special. It tasted like it came out of an Aunt Millie’s bag, off the grocery store shelf. My husband’s Reuben was the thinnest Reuben I’ve ever seen. We laughed when he opened it. Hardly any corned beef. We paid extra for a bag of chips, a cookie and a pickle, but when we got in the car and started eating, we realized they did not even include the pickles! The cookie was 1/2 the size of the cookies in the case by the register. We were expecting the same cookie we saw when we ordered. So ridiculously good! I came in for lunch, got "The big dill" sandwich, and it fundamentally changed my view of how good a sandwich could be. I went back the next day for "the Don", which was also great. You should stop reading now and just go - it's that good.

This is a counter deli shop with about 20 choices for sandwiches. Each one is a carefully chosen combination, and you can build your own as well. They have a wide variety of cold cuts and condiments. UPDATED REVIEW: Those who remember the old location will be pleased that they have moved up the street to a new and expanded space with more tables and a grocery section!
