Winter Sport Solutions — Local services in Grayslake

I couldn't be happier with my choice to go to Winter Sports Solutions and I'm going to be telling anyone who wants winter sports gear (or summer bikes!) about this place. So me: decided I wanted to get the kids into skiing this winter (ages 9/7/4). Got a season pass, got the wife & kids gear online (before I found this place)... and then finally ended up finding WSS and coordinated with Paul to come visit. They were attentive, friendly, and I didn't at all feel pressured or like I was getting ripped off. Quite the opposite. I got a bunch of selections after telling them what I was looking for, I got the appropriate amount of feedback, and then zeroed in on some Rossignol Twin Tips with bindings. Then boots - he had me try on 3 pairs and keep the ones I liked best on for 10 minutes - he wanted to make sure that they were comfortable. This is not 1-size-fits-all old rental equipment either... So I got a consultation, quality gear, and friendly/knowledgeable help, and they even helped me load it in the car and pad it so it didn't scratch anything. Don't waste money renting, and don't waste time going anywhere else - go to Winter Sport Solutions and get it done...

Happened to be working in the area and decided to stop by to see what kind of snowboard, bindings and boots they had. Daniel right off the bat was super accommodating and helped me figure out the right sized boots. Based off of that, we were able to figure out the best snowboard for my needs. I took it out over the weekend and it rode like a dream!

Paul and Daniel were some of the nicest people I’ve met and their prices are pretty hard to beat. Their shop is loaded with tons of boards, skis and any other equipment you could need, it’s almost overwhelming. Paul’s speedy service to get the board waxed and ready to go the same day was highly appreciated.

WOW!! This place rocks. Let me start with the service because it was grade A. Both the owner and his son are extremely knowledgeable in the sport. They also provide an amazing customer experience with their knowledge and kindness. Now let’s talk about their selection of ski and snowboarding equipment. It’s wall to wall with layers upon layers of stuff. As you walk in the door you have to scoot to the side to even fit through the hallway because of their equipment stock. It’s like a snowboarders dream. Love it! I have been there already twice in 2 days. Well done boys. Thanks for taking care of my last minute issues and gearing up my family for our trip up north.
