This place and its' people are my 'other' Therapy. Last night was the anniversary of Mending Club and I hope to be there every month until the next one! I needle felted for the first time ever and honestly thought I was going to burst with excitement. THE Mending Mother- Elley- gave me one on one instructions when needed. Jamie, the heart of Hart, not only had all the felting supplies I needed, spoke much needed words of affirmation making me feel like the coolest cat in the alley đ Plus the encouragement from other menders was nice, too. The store attracts the Best people and might even convert a pessimist (like me)... I'm so glad...
   Read moreVisit the store. Then make something! An incredible and welcoming environment. I got some great books for dye making and recommendations from the staff and fellow shopper/friend. I've never been to a crafting store quite like it. It's clearly done with attention to details that make it attractive to beginners, explorers, and showing a path to how one can pursue the crafts to further depths. If you visit, you'll want to make things! And... now I can have fun putting life back into a dozen pairs of pants with knee holes... and my kiddos pants too! I'm sure the books will pay for...

First time I visited she sold me a set of knitting needles from her personal stash because she didnât have the size I needed in stock. She just ordered me a sewing machine part so I didnât have to go to Pittsfield to go to Joanns or order on Amazon. So happy to have someone with good values serving our community. Iâm so happy to be able to get all my handwork needs...
