Warhammer — Local services in Greenfield

Truly one of my favorite stores to shop at. I don’t know how to actually play Warhammer 40k or kill team (I just like painting the models) and the worker there (Tom) after hearing that enthusiastically offered to set up a time where I could come in and learn the rules.

I’ve never had a bad experience shopping there, and every single time Ive visited I’ve left feeling happier than when I arrived.

I cannot stress enough just how great Tom is as the manager of the store. Whether you’re brand new to the hobby or a grizzled veteran of 25 years, Tom has this crazy ability where he makes everyone like him. You can tell that he truly has a passion for the hobby, and he’s incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve learned many painting techniques just by sitting at the painting bar and chatting with Tom.

I enjoy painting miniatures, so I had a small order sent to this location from the GW website, in order to paint the "classic" Space Marine models for fun. Heath was friendly and helpful, which was important since I was not an actual Warhammer/40k player. I could certainly see that there is a very active and friendly patronage that frequents the shop as well, and I am already planning my next visit! Really cool models and terrain are all over the place too, so it is a great stop to make even just to browse around and enjoy the artwork.

Well, I've now been bitten by the bug as well. This store is fantastic at facilitating the entry of new players. I've been truly enjoying the multifaceted Warhammer hobby: painting, playing, lore, and socialising. What a truly unique pastime, and a great location...

My biggest issue with this store is that you have to call ahead to make sure they are actually open during their posted hours. I have twice arrived during their business hours to find the store locked and closed.

The gentleman who runs this place is great. He's super helpful and really knows his stuff when it comes to 40k (he might know about Warhammer and Sigmar in general, but I wouldn't know).

Prices are pretty much in line with a Warhammer store. Paint is fresh. Selection is pretty good. Being a Warhammer store, don't go looking for Army Painter or any other...
