La-Z-Boy Greenfield — Local services in Greenfield

Sales person (Kyle) was very patient with our endless waffling over which set we thought would be best. We finally did purchase a loveseat and two chairs to replace an aging La Z Boy set that has served us very well.

Edit: My opinion of the service we received from the Greenfield store has not changed, but I thought that this follow-up was needed to comment on the durability of the product. The leather recliners and loveseat were delivered in December of 2021. And while the grade of leather on these pieces was not top grade, for just over $4800, I expected the surface of the leather to wear a lot better than it has. There is noticeable fading of the leather on both the arms and headrests. These pieces are used every day, just mostly in the evenings. But this usage has hardly been excessive or harsh. Just adults, no kids or pets. Contacting customer service at La-Z-Boy corporate was not helpful. I pretty much just received confirmation that the chairs were out of warranty and given the name of a leather restoration firm. Restoration? Really? On two-and-a-half-year-old pieces? We’ve had a number of recliners that have been purchased over the years, but for the price of these, I might have to rethink this...

I was looking for a new manual recliner to replace the one I’ve had for over 20 years, which was also a La-Z-Boy. On my first visit, I explained to Ronald, their sales associate, what I needed and within a few minutes, I had the model I wanted. I was impressed by his knowledge of the products at this store. I still wanted to check out other stores so I told him that and he printed out a webpage for the model I wanted and I took that to Steinhafel’s and Colder’s to compare with the recliners sold there. Only Colder’s had a good selection of recliners but, like Steinhafel’s, most of those were powered recliners and not in my price range. So, a week later after my first visit, I went back to the La-Z-Boy store and met with Ronald to finalize my purchase. I asked him to explain the options for the model I wanted and he did so in detail, even showing me the different seat cushions available for my model. He explained all my finance options available for my special order, how long it would take, and what would happen in that time frame. I really appreciated the time he took to explain everything and answer...

We just had an outstanding experience at the 7900 W. Layton Ave La-Z-Boy store. We were there to replace our 25-year-old La-Z-Boy living room furniture. Our family had spent many good years just living with our original furniture. We had the good fortune to work with Design Associate Oscar Santiago. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the various furniture styles, fabric options (colors, textures, finishes), cushion firmness, etc. He patiently took the time for us to experience all the various furnishings through sight and touch. Oscar worked hard to find what we liked and didn’t like for replacement furniture. He then came to our home to see first-hand what our living room space was like. He took notice of the woodwork and paint colors on the walls and ceiling and made a serious of measurements to define the exact dimensions of our living area, to determine the optimal design for our desired furniture style’s functionality, color combinations (cushions, pillows, floor rugs), and wall decorations.
