I had a good experience with Ava's catering and would use them again in the future. The staff was punctual, professional, and pleasant. The food was really good and several guest complimented the food choice. And since we had full service, they did the majority of the cleaning after the event. Overall I'm more than satisfied with this company.

I didn't give five stars for minor things that may sound trivial to others. However, the week I hosted this event was in between 2 other events I hosted; so I can't help but compare the 3 events. This company held a recorded final menu and service meeting that was new to me but I appreciated their willingness for accuracy.

However, the final meeting didn't make it to execution. For example, we discussed the table being set, the selected salad with walnuts on the table instead of the salad, and pitchers of water on each table. That didn't happen. I had to ask for napkins and water for each table. Also the fork with the salad was the only fork for the guest so they had to save it for the main course. Again small issues that wouldn't defer me from...

We usually just order individual lunches from Ava's but for Black History Month we decided to support a Black owned business so I had Ava's cater a meal for the school. When I tell you EVERYTHING about this experience was perfect from start to finish, it was!! When starting the catering process, the person in charge of catering (forgive me I'm terrible with names), called me personally to go over the details and to make sure that everything was in place for the event. On the day of the event she called again, to let me know when the delivery was on the way and confirmed via text when he arrived. He (Billy I think his name was) was very professional as he set up the area to host the event and made sure we had everything that we needed before he left. The food was CHEF'S KISS as it always is and my staff was very satisfied with the taste. I would highly recommend Ava's for ANY food moment..a snack, a meal or a feast...NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL THE EVENT IS THEY HAVE EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED FOR YOUR TASTEBUDS!! Hey, I'm ordering as soon as I finish this post, lol!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT...

I was already familiar with Ava's because I happened to go to school with the owner. When we began wedding planning, they were the first option that came to mind! As we explored other options, Ava's was the best choice we could have made.

The website was very informative! There were multiple menu options including packages to choose from.

When we started the inquiry process, it was efficient and timely. As we got connected with the catering manager, Tameka, she was extremely helpful and informative in the decision making process. Along the way, we had a few challenges, but we were able to quickly resolve them together with good communication! She was definitely friendly and genuinely wanted our wedding experience to go well.

On the day of, the team showed up in a timely manner, looking professional! Everyone was extremely friendly! We specifically want to shout out Tiffany, who was especially helpful in serving us personally on our wedding day. She made sure we were fed and had plates set aside after the wedding.
