The day and time were perfect. It was Thursday at 1:30pm. The License Plate place was quiet and only had 3 people ahead of me. I was there to have a title switched into my name. For those of you who may not know, this business is not owned and operated by the State of North Carolina's Division of Motor Vehicles. It is privately owned and operated. To change the title of a 2004 Honda Civic over into my name cost $77.50 and they tacked on $20 for a notary fee so I paid $97.50 total. The lady who did the paperwork was a senior citizen. She was very kind and took the time to make sure that she crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's. In the end, she said it would take six to eight weeks for me to receive my official car title. I would recommend this store if you are close and have no transportation.
