I am anxious at the dentist and Dr. Kordsmeier and his staff are so awesome to me! Admittedly, my teeth need some work, but there is no judgement - only positive reinforcement and help in getting to a better mouth and smile. I have tried desperately to get my wife to come to this dentist, because she is more anxious than I am and she really needs to know that a dentist can be great. No matter what your dental concerns, no one is more detailed, more thorough, more knowledgeable and no one is more passionate about your oral health that this team - at least no one I have ever been to in the past 50 plus years has EVER been as awesome and done as much as these folks have. This dental practice remains at State of the Art - if there is a better way to provide a better dental product, rest assured that this office will have it first, already mastered it and write the manufacturer improvement suggestions before the other dentists even know it exists. I am very appreciative of all they know and all they do to help me have better oral health - Jimmy
This is a follow-up review (date 7-14-2020); This visit went smooth and was completed in a very caring and respectful manner. I appreciate the staff - they are courteous and I never feel judged even though I never floss as much as I need, I brush my teeth sporadically and feel a little sad because I know better - I seldom do better when it comes to my mouth. Having said all that, this staff treats me very well, cleans my teeth, takes the precautions to keep me and themselves safe AND gives me good advice and peace of mind that my teeth are good. I appreciate this dentist and his staff. I trust them and they have corrected much in my mouth that has made a difference in my overall health. What else could you ask? Best dentist and staff that ever provided me with dental care-period.
FOLLOW - UP (1-14-21) : This was a visit for cleaning and was a great visit in that the cleaning was thorough and the dentist eval was complete and gave me peace of mind. As said before, I continue to trust the staff and especially Dr. Kordsmeier because I can tell he is giving me his best efforts and information. I would recommend them to anyone needing dental care and I often do. Thorough and respectful.
Follow Up (2-2-2022) : Cleaning visit and I had not flossed if as much as needed. They were very good and encouraging (not judging) and the cleaning was thorough. Their work was great and they gave me some instructions and want to see me next month. Time for me to get busy and do my part to take better care of my teeth and gums. I still recommend this dentist highly (even more so now after they were not judging my lack of mouth maintenance).
FOLLOW UP (3-2-2022): WOW! I did what I needed to do (floss and brush 2x a day) and my gums feel better and my appointment went very well! Dr. Kordsmeier and his staff were very encouraging and respectful to me and gave me great help and nest steps to keep this going! BEST DENTIST AND STAFF IN GREENSBORO!
Follow up (7-18-22) : I need to get back to flossing and brushing as before, but today went well. Great visit and thorough cleaning!
Follow up (11-2023): making progress and appreciate to encouragement of staff. Still best dentist and staff as far as I am concerned. Grateful for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis post isnāt to bash Dentistry Revolutionary. Dr Kordsmeier (I call him Dr. K) is a wonderful dentist, the absolute best! One of the most caring and gentlest dentist Iāve ever had. This post is for insight and training purposes.
I called in January spoke with Brooke, I gave her a backstory of my prior experience(s) with my dentist, and scheduled an appt. The problem is Brooke called my now previous dentist immediately after we spoke and told them what I told her, thus creating a hostile situation for me because they began calling me to ask about what Brooke had just told them. A few minutes later, Brooke calls me back saying āyou both are telling two different stories! You HAVE TO finish treatment with your previous dentist! Besides, Dr. Kordsmeier is going to tell you the same thing they said, so don't waste your money.ā So Brooke cancels my appt against my will. Had she took the time to actually listen with compassion she would understand why I sought after a new dentist. Plain and simple my previous dentist had FAILED me.
Back in 2022 from April to September, I visited my previous dentist 5x for the same temporary tooth. The tooth would not stay in. During those 5 visits, the actual dentist NEVER came to see what the problem was. By the 5th visit, Iām told by the receptionist (not the professional) āmaybe itās the foundation and not the temporary toothā. This dental practice has caused me to lose so much from my confidence, to money, modeling jobs, I rarely smile although I want to, I'm unable to eat my favorite food, and because of this I've lost a lot of weight. Overall I'm completely traumatized from my tooth constantly falling out. And to be clear I told Brooke all of this.
I really wanted Dr. K as my one and only dentist but after that experience with Brooke and the drama created, it triggered me. So I sought another dentist. Gratefully, I am now an established patient at Dr. Locklear's dental practice and I did NOT have to complete any prior treatment before he took me on as a new patient. In less than a month heās created a health plan for my teeth, along with new xrays, a new temporary, and I'll be getting an implant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate #4: Dr. Kordsmeier & team have earned another 5-star review. HUZZA!!!
Update #3: Another positive experience today. I have multiple compromised teeth and feel that Dr. Kordsmeier is guiding me along the correct path of tooth restoration versus the much more costly All-On-Four implant.
Update #2: Spent another 2 hours in the "dental repair chair" today with more positive feedback to offer that over 100 reviewers read my original review below.
Going off of x-rays, Dr. Kordsmeir provided an initial care plan with the caveat that until he can actually examine my teeth, the actual work required would be a game day decision. I had a cost estimate of his preliminary expert opinion based on x-rays.
After performing an intra-tooth examination, imagine my surprise hearing (paraphrasing) "the required procedure(s) today were more conservative than x-ray indicated were possibly needed."
A less honest Dentist could have said nothing and charged the original estimate amount. However, I was greeted with an actual charge almost $400 less which as someone on fixed disability income, was a welcome surprise.
So, what does any self-respecting Southerner do to celebrate? Go straight to Krispy-Kreme and fill our mouths and coat our teeth with the Hot-Now fresh layer of gooey glazed goodness....ummm.
OK, everything above is true except for the KK part lol. So folks, not just a Dentistry Revolution, but a Revolution in business ethics therefore, my evidentiary suggestion is to book your appointment today = don't delay your decay!
Original Post: Ok, that was an off-the-charts amazing first visit. From Kimberly working me in due to a cracked tooth, to Lisa's exam/x-rays followed by Dr. Kordsmeir's thorough Care Plan in layman's language all combined to provide a "revolutionary" experience. 5+ Stars...
