Jaime and her staff at Revolution Mill were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I got engaged in January 2017 and booked our venue in February 2017. We were recently married on July 28, 2018. Throughout our one-and-a-half-year engagement, Jaime kept in touch with us, often checking in, and helped us plan our special day. She was friendly, hospitable, and kind from the moment we inquired about getting married at the Colonnade at Revolution Mill.
As our engagement progressed, Jaime reminded us of items that needed to be complete, sent us our updated contract(s) as we made changes, and really focused on what was important to us on our wedding day. She provided us with multiple opportunities to attend tastings and allowed us to walk through the venue closer to our big day to get a feel of how things would work. Jaime answered all of my emails immediately and was so easy to correspond with.
Revolution Mill is an absolutely gorgeous venue. We used the ivory linens that were provided and added our own blush accents. Jaime even put us in contact with a company that we could rent linens and other items from for our special day. Any time that Jaime saw an opportunity to help us save money, she shared it with us so that we could decide whether to pursue the suggestion.
Our food was out of this world! We received so many compliments from our guests about our menu options. The staff was accommodating and made my husband and I feel like royalty on our wedding day. We wanted for nothing. The staff also treated our guests with respect and hospitality. Many of our guests complimented how friendly the staff was and how much they enjoyed our venue. We also received compliments about the venue’s beauty in general. It truly doesn’t get any better than Revolution Mill.
From start to finish, Jaime made the wedding planning process easy (and stress free). Whenever I was worried about something, she helped me through it and eased my mind. She and her staff were available on our wedding day from the moment that we woke up until the very last of our family and friends left.
Revolution Mill hosts several weddings throughout the year, sometimes multiple weddings during the same weekend. However, Jaime made me feel special and important. Whenever I spoke with her, she made me feel like I was the only bride that mattered. That is such an important quality for a venue manager to possess – as it is easy to shuffle your many brides along when you are so busy. Jaime never did that though. I always felt like she cared, like she listened, and like she wanted to make our day truly amazing!
If you are looking for the most gorgeous wedding venue in the triad area, Revolution Mill is it. You will not be disappointed with the venue, the staff, or Jaime! We cannot recommend Revolution Mill highly enough.
Thank you, Jaime, for making our day everything that we wanted it to be and more!
I’ve posted some photos of the venue. We got married in July and chose to have an indoor wedding, but we had access to the outdoor courtyard, which made for gorgeous photos. Our ceremony set-up was everything we hoped it would be and I hope these photos provide a little glimpse of what an indoor ceremony at Revolution Mill is like.

Read moreWorking with Revolution Mill Events was so stress-free and fun! They really help you make the most of this once in a lifetime experience by having events leading up to the wedding day. We always looked forward to going to their events so we could take time envisioning our wedding day in the space and trying all of the amazing food. It was also a chance to ask questions or meet different vendors, which we appreciated. The team was so nice and we loved working with them! Aimee and Ben were so great to work with because they had the answer to any question we could think of! They are so knowledgeable, helpful, and personable and it was a joy working with them.
We were first drawn to The Colonnade because the venue space was so beautiful. It was very important to us to have some outdoor space because we were having a spring wedding and wanted our guests to be able to enjoy the weather. Once we toured the venue, we fell in love. We loved that the event space was completely private, something other venues we toured were lacking, and that there were so many options. We had multiple options for how to use the indoor and outdoor spaces which is something we were really looking for because we wanted to make the wedding personal. There were even multiple options for the rehearsal dinner spaces! We were able to confidently make decisions based on what we felt was best because we were able to weigh our options on how to best use the space. We also loved that it had an all inclusive feel because a lot of things could be done in house. Having Pepper Moon Catering serve the food was a huge plus for us because they had a multitude of options for food and drinks. We were also able to get tables, linens, flatware, lighting, and drapery through the venue. This significantly decreased the stress that surrounds decision making because we didn't have to go searching for things; it was already there for us if we wanted it. All of these factors made The Colonnade the easy choice for...

My husband and I got married in the "before times" on March 14th, 2020, the day before everything shut down. The Colonnade team rolled with the punches leading up to the week of our wedding with all of the uncertainty that was around in March due to COVID, made everyone feel so safe and took precautions to ensure that all the attendees were comfortable. Jaime and the team at the colonnade made everything perfect and easy from booking, to layout, to amazing recommendations for additional vendors. I picked the venue not only because it's gorgeous and a landmark for Greensboro but also because it was so easy, and I've been to many events and experienced the friendly staff and service and knew that I wanted that for my family and friends to have on our special day. I would give this way more than 5 stars if I could! The venue has an amazing private bridal suite and a groom suite far enough away that you don't chance an accidental sighting if that's something you're looking for. The bridal suite has a changing room, makeup counter, modern and tasteful decor perfect for a background for your photographer, a private bathroom. Another major reason we picked this venue was that the venue has an elevator, located right next to the bar so any guests who need it can feel comfortable to stay upstairs or enjoy the courtyard, without going out of the way to join in on the fun. Yes, you will pay a little bit more for all of the convenience you're getting versus a "DIY" wedding - tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, food, alcohol, setup, breakdown - are all taken care of by the venue, and the design elements are so easy to pick from in the presentation that the team will give you - I CANNOT emphasize enough that the tiny bit "more" you're paying for this convenience is 10000% worth it for your sanity. I only had to source additional vendors for Music, Photography, lighting/Drapes, and flowers. If you're counting - that's only 5...
