I’d like to start by saying I enjoyed this place the three times I came here since moving from NYC, we usually go to smoke hub across the street ( I never get greeted at this place when I walk in) idk I’m not royalty but it’s kinda confusing because I’d like to feel like I can ask questions or be guided especially being from out of state. The staff is kind, for the most part, I had a real question about why I was charged a certain amount. Not because I need the extra money but because I was curious. My bf a black Haitian man from NY had asked the person if they heard him in his Brooklyn accent the person was , blonde, tattoos, Tom boy, I don’t like to label, it seemed like the question was funny to them. They smirked/giggled and it seemed like it was funny the question. So they call over another person and girl blonde hair. She was very informative and answered our question as to why we were charged a different price. All in all, I’d like to say, maybe we just out of everyone had this bad experience. But I do think there should be a little more professionalism and customer service. The place is very nice. My bf did openly say he did not appreciate the attitude from the person at the flower counter and used profanity because of the frustration. This happened today at about 10:45 pm. Our issue was more the customer service then anything and I hope anyone with a real question gets a real answer and a happy and good attitude instead of what we...
Read moreI want to stress that I have been going here for YEARS and it has been great! 99% of my experiences here have been wonderful and I have genuinely never had any experience like this one. We went in between bar hopping and bought a couple of their products (nearly $50 in value) and in between buying products some of our friends went to use the bathrooms at their location after purchasing said products. What followed was employees of this store rudely harassing me and my group and accusing us of “trespassing” after not only purchasing products but merely using the bathrooms (which was not marked as closed) despite us being entirely respectful during the exchange. I really want to support local Greenville businesses, which is why it disappoints me to leave this review, but I really want to believe this was just an example of bad employees rather than representing the business as a whole. Ultimately, I am mostly confused as to why this even occurred in the first place, and I hope this is just a one off event. If this is truly reflective of their business and their practices, then I hope the extremely valuable real estate which they hold within the downtown corridor can be given instead to someone more focused on community building and creating a more positive environment for our downtown patrons. If not, I wish them well and hope they continue thriving, even if it will not be with me or my friends support. All the...
