I used to love going here. I’m not sure what’s happened since the last time I was in here. I was appalled at the service, wait staff seemed like we were bothering them even showing up and eating. There was barely any food on the plate, which is a very common complaint now. I would recommend this place to everyone I knew. The French dip was favorite sandwich, piled high with meat, well don’t expect that now. I’ll add some pictures. My friend ordered the French dip (at my recommendation) and I ordered the black and blue burger. My burger was over cooked and the French dip had two sad pieces of meat. I have only been one other time, for Sunday brunch, another thing I love(d) and the food was sub par, cold and even the prime rib was lacking. Honestly for the quality and price, you would be better off going elsewhere. It breaks my heart to give such a low score to a place that used to be in my top five in Greenville.

Winslow's can be hit or miss sometimes. I've had meals that were incredible, and then I've had a couple that were lacking. But the most recent visit was pretty great. Sunday brunch is where its at. They set up a bunch of different foods and its pretty affordable. Last time I went the buffet included sausage gravy, biscuits, French toast casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, hashbrown casserole, made-to-order omelets and waffles, green beans, mac and cheese, and steak. I was quite pleased! Their drink selection was a little lacking though. Order two seperate drinks and they couldnt make either, but the manmosa is pretty good (pictured).

Went to Winslow with some friends for a big occasion only to leave disappointed. Two specific issues I came across that night. 1. The GM and his assistant were both rude and condescending to our female companions. Making negative remarks of women’s intelligence. 2. I had order the blackened prime rib, which as stated in the menu, it’s thinly sliced. As you can see from the pictures the steak was thicker the the knife was broad. The GM was un-accommodating and rude when asked to fix the issue. Needless to say I won’t be going there again ans recommend you skip this place and find somewhere else to spend your money.

I am not usually one to write a bad review (or a review at all for that matter) but the experience I had at Winslow's was terrible. I made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday for a party of 10. They got the reservation number wrong and only had a table for 8 people which they did fix quickly. The server took 10 minutes to get us our drinks and repeatedly asked if anyone wanted drinks from the bar (which we continuously said no since only one person at the table was over 21). I ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were cold (I know they come frozen, but they could at least reheat them so they are nice and hot). I ordered the strawberry salad with shrimp which honestly was not bad. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out though which was very annoying. I also had to flag down our waitress for more water when everyone's drinks were obviously empty. I brought a cake earlier that day as a surprise for my boyfriend and had called to make sure I could do so and told them it was a surprise. When we got there, I pulled the waitress aside and reminded her that it was a surprise and to light the candles and bring the cake when dinner was over. She proceeded to come up to our table when everyone was done with dinner and asked if the cake in the back was for us. As it was a surprise, my boyfriend said no and asked for all of the checks. I grabbed a manager and had him get me the cake and set it up and brought it out to our table myself. I had to find another server to get a knife and plates. Our server was no where to be found and took another 35 minutes to get us the checks. She took another 20 minutes to run all of the cards and get change (there were only 4 cards to run so it should not have taken 20 minutes). I am not impressed with winslow's whatsoever and do not recommend choosing them for a group gathering - they will...

Unfortunately tonight I chose to dine at Winslow’s. Though their ambiance is quite entrancing, surrounded by a unique historical building... my experience was almost not worth the time to type about. I first attempted to order the “optimus prime rib sandwich” priced at 13.70. You would think that an item such as this would present itself as more than a hamburger helper slab of meat on wonder bread. Not to mention my lost chance at a meal was missing two out of only four items in the description. I then gave the hopeless night a second chance at redemption by then asking for the “Pulled pork burger”, an angus patty with pulled pork bbq pork on top and a side of fries... remember that “angus patty” part of the description. The food runner comes out with my next dish in attempts to make up for the previous failure and to nothing little more than a surprise I was handed a salad and a pulled pork sandwich. No burger, just pork... but at least they didn’t forget the salad I never ordered. Finally after receiving my final order I received a well done burger (requested as medium) and a side of fried potato sticks with zero seasoning. Yet at this point I was so hungry that It was good enough. Winslow’s, there will not be a next time. 👍🏽 I’d like to point out briefly that this was no where near a serving issue, our waitress was very apt at her work and quick with service. Management needs to...

Not a great visit to say the least. First, a colleague and I were ushered straight to the back, pass several other empty tables and away from where EVERYONE ELSE in the restaurant were seated. After speaking up and being ushered back to the front, we were seated and had our drink orders taken. During our conversation and while looking over the menu, I noticed the sanitation grade (87.5 - which was just received on March 9, 2018). When the waitress came back to take our orders, we asked why the sanitation grade was so low. She attempted to explain that it was 'equipment' related, not food related - as we were actually reading about their infractions on the public sanitation site. We asked her to give us a moment, while we decided what we wanted to do. She went to let her coworkers(not a manager) know we had an issue with the sanitation grade. At this point we would have thought a manager would have been notified and at the very least visit our table to explain, but that never happened. Once we decided to leave, we let another waitress know, to which she said she would go get 'our' waitress...well...'our' waitress never came back out and we stood there as a courtesy since the young lady said she was going to get the young lady who initially came to our table. There should definitely be a little more customer service trainin for the employees, and manager...
