One of the closest true Japanese foods places in Indy area. Small selection, but all the food is both Great and reasonable priced. Portions are also good and people are friendly. I recommend the Chicken soba, but have not had anything there that i did not like. Great lunch specials too. Located in same mall as Kroger, off hwy S.135. Planning to visit again soon (12/2018) Have introduced at least 20 people to this place in last year. Everyone loved it, & many have said they've returned on thier own. Favorite seems to be Chicken Soba, but all items tried, liked. Told could use little larger portions on Teriyaki dishes, but overall good for price. Cant figure the bad review about it being a bad Hibachi place (?) That person must have a grudge or is a competetor. (?) Would love to see them "expand" thier menu! Looking forward to my lunch there today. If you like Asian food & Chinese...you should indeed try this Japanese food! The place is not real fancy, but it's still nice & worth visiting! Enjoy!!

Have been to & taken several others here as new customers. Each loved it & were surprised. Some dishes ciuld still stand to be of larger portions, but still good. Waiting time is minimal except during lunch hours, which is usually busy. Food is brought to your table. The Yum Yum sauce seems to go well with most everything ! Try it! Chicken soba no longer on lunch special menu...too bad, as is my favorite. Don't get into Sushi, but seems to be a big thing for the lunch crowd. Gonna try the Bento dish next time go. For the price, the food was delicious and the service was quick. Try the Yum Yum sauce on your rice, it truly is yummy! My husband and I got teriyaki chicken hibachi and each got a sushi roll. The California roll was exactly what you'd expect and my husband said he enjoyed the Spicy Crab roll. My husband liked the food so much he said he wished there was more on his plate! The serving size is decent and frankly large, again, accounting for the cheap prices. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis! We didnt like it. We went today 9-14-25 for the first time. My wife and I purchased the General Tso's Chicken and brown rice. My Son got the Sweet & Sour Chicken.

The rice was really mushy, slimy and over cooked. The 3 drinks ( Sprite and Coke) had a weird aftertaste from the fountain machine. Very watered down.

Our Dinner size meals were the same size portions as the " Lunch meal" we got for our Son. We went ahead and bought the " Dinner" meals because the girl at the register said the lunch meals weren't very large portions.

The chicken itself was good. But considering what we paid unfortunately we didnt enjoy our meal.
