I cannot in good conscious support this shop after receiving my receipt in my inbox tonight.
My suspicions where raised when I was forced to create an account to pay for my item. This is highly suspect, as no other store will make you do this: you just swipe your card or hand over your cash, and be on your merry way. He stated it was “so he could get paid.” The owner was friendly enough so I went with it.
Turns out that the owners are actually Herbalife distributors, as evidenced by the giant “Herbalife Nutrition” logo at the top of my receipt. Herbalife is a notorious pyramid scheme/MLM that preys upon people: it’s not about selling a product, it’s about recruiting other people underneath you so that you make money off of them. This is a predatory business practice and I’m disappointed to see something like this popping up.
I highly suggest doing your research on Herbalife before you consider coming here...
Read moreI am so, so disappointed to find out this is a front for HerbalLife. They hide it well by being so friendly and creating a nice, clean environment. The smoothies are fairly good, but pricey. Now it makes sense. I cannot, in good faith, continue to support a place like this. Creating a front for a pyramid scheme that is widely known for being dangerous to your health and predatory is deceitful and quite frankly, not okay. Such a shame. They do use "Herbalife" products, so I would encourage someone who has a sensitive system to look them up and be sure you are okay with drinking that product.
