This boost is the WORST boost store i've EVER been to. Today, I spent FOUR HOURS here trying to add my mom and my daughter to my plan. From the moment I walked in, it was a bad experience. The representative (Jess) kept telling me that phone insurance was mandatory(LIE). When I asked her WHY it was mandatory, she said that she wouldn't get credit for the sale if I didn't buy insurance. She also said she'd get in trouble by her manager if she didn't sell the insurance. The rep (Jess)told me that it would be $30 per line to add my mom and my daughter. I asked her WHY because my account said it was only $25 per line and the advertisement on the front of the store said $100 for 3 lines and I was already paying $50/month. She said that was only for new customers and I would be paying $110/month for all 3 of us. She told me to pull up a facebook promo to get an extra $50 off. Another women was in the store with me. We were BOTH unable to pull up the promo. The rep Jess was able to get the promo on her phone. When I asked if I could use her promo, she said NO because that wouldn't be fair to the woman who was in the store who couldn't pull it up either. She told me that buying 2 accessories was mandatory with my plan. She said it'd be like they were free because I'd be avoiding an activation fee. HOW?!? 2 accessories =$40 PER LINE and activation was $25 per line. Again, she was just LYING so she could get more commission. I paid for my phones and services then Jess realized that she couldn't add the lines because I was a loyalty customer and it was only supposed to be $25 per line Jess spent the next 3 1/2 hours trying to fix her mistake. First, she called her manager (Michelle). Michelle began to raise her voice at Jess. (I could hear every word through the phone... That's how LOUD she was). Jess started crying and threw out a few profanities in frustration. I asked to speak to the manager because Jess was OBVIOUSLY flustered and the manager said she didn't want to talk to me because she was "off the clock". Jess put her on speaker. I started to tell her the situation and Michelle began yelling again then just hung up. Then, Jess called refunded the purchase. I wanted to walk out right then and there but we had just ported my mom's phone number from AT&T. I asked that we just set up my mom's phone totally separate from mine so we didn't lose her number. Jess got an attitude. She sat in the store vacillating between crying fits, panic attacks and a poor attitude. She was freaking out. All the customers in the store kept trying to calm her down. Honestly, I would have felt bad for her but she was INCREDIBLY rude. I didn't know what to do. Anytime I went to the Boost on Main St, it was AMAZING service. So, I called another Boost store in the mall and asked someone to call and help Jess because she was freaking out. I saw/heard the store phone ring shortly afterward and Jess ignored the call. Later, she was on the phone and she told someone she was in the back when they called. LIE! She was sitting RIGHT THERE! Finally, she got BACK on the phone with her manager (Michelle). I expressed to both of them how poor the service was. (Jess had LIED and told Michelle the phone was never on speaker.) I heard Michelle say how she was unconcerned with my dissatisfaction and Jess say "I know right". I told Jess that I could hear both sides of the conversation. THEN, Michelle asked Jess to put me on speaker and she apologized. Finally(4 hours later) I was able to check out. Jess told me that I would need to go to the boost on Main Street to see a her manager Pedro. I said that wasn't possible because I worked business hours and I just got a job at a bank in Camp Hill. Before I could suggest an alternative, Jess expressed flustered that she works business hours too. Jess was flustered and had a really bad attitude so I let her finish interrupting me and I asked that she have her manager call me tomorrow.
Moral of the story? DON'T GO TO THIS BOOST STORE! the...
