A security sensor was left on one of the things I bought on a Friday, went back to ask for it to be removed today, Monday, but forgot the receipt, however I did have proof of payment on my phone as I had used apple pay. The manager I asked for help seemed frustrated from the beginning, didn’t even give me the time of day when i asked if i could ask her for help, she kept doing what she was doing (folding some clothes behind the register) after I explained to her what happened she came to me already with an attitude and trying to intimidate with the way she spoke to me, she said she couldn’t help because i didn’t have a receipt so i asked if she could maybe look it up in the system since I was showing her the time and date; I understand that I should have made sure to have the receipt but I honestly forgot and also this was not my mistake, I feel she could have been more accommodating since it was an error on their part. Either way i went back home and looked for the receipt, then I went back to the store and had to wait in line for a few minutes, that’s where I noticed she didn’t have a problem with my issue she just has a bad attitude problem in general, she was rushing the customer and looked pissed to be working the register. This lady should take some management classes as she doesn’t know how to treat people, I can only imagine how she treats the other employees. I’ve seen many people’s complaints about the manager, and clearly nothing has been done, this lady, I believe named Gloria, seems to always be in a bad mood (I read other reviews about her) and I get it, we all have bad days, but she needs to be profesional or look for a job where customer service isn’t necessary. Burlington might not feel it now, but with time the customers will chose to go elsewhere not because of the store itself but because of bad management. Btw the sensor i was trying to get removed was on a $5 pack of baby socks. Would have been more understanding if it was something a lot more expensive, but anyway, not coming back here...
