Did business with this place for the first time (spent almost $700) live in a different state. Out of blue, received an invoice for $352 for vinyl I never ordered. Was alarmed, but not upset. Contacted them (Esther) via email immediately. Followed up with 3 phone calls (no reply) called the emergency number (what a joke nobody answers or calls back) followed with 3 texts ( unanswered). Finally got a guy name Mark and he said " I didn't receive an invoice and they are not looking for money from me" he also said "we have lots of customers with the same name. Weird!" Well, I don't really care about other customers, I would better have preferred a "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" and an email saying to disregard for records purposes. No, I didn't. I finally received a text back ( maybe from Esther, I don't know who it was) but they also offered no simple apology for what probably was an innocent error. Well, they lost a customer that just got started with them. An I'm sorry goes A LONG way. By the way, I wasn't going to mention my buying 2 110 mesh screens that literally BOTH disintegrated (tearing) from my ONE TIME USE of speedball water based ink. Yea, they may have great reviews and I'm only one guy, but this one guy does not lie or embellish. I can attach the screen shots of EVERYTHING I have said. Just in case if my post seems angry. I'm not. I just won't buy anything from here. Buyer beware! CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS MORE THAN PRODUCT AND COST SOMETIMES. A GREAT EXPERIENCE OR A " OUR BAD WE ARE SORRY" GOES A LONGER WAY!!!
Edit addition @ 1:51pm In response to Total Ink. It's a very obvious look into how business is conducted and how astoundingly total ink provides review responses. So I will add what has been left out. I will also add screen shots at threats received that may require legal action. I don't review many businesses unless the experience was so egregious. Check my review dates as the owner has comically inferred I wanted free product from small business??? I asked for nothing, expected nothing, wanted nothing, except courtesy. Btw, I own 2 small businesses. So, again, a testament to how they do business. I didn't speak to ANYONE on March 27th AT ALL. not text either. The so called response provided in the answer to my poor review did NOT occur with me. However, I'm glad this business will give you all 10%, it should be 25%. Be gracious and give them more for having to read this nonsense. As stated in text, AN APOLOGY FOR WHAT PROBABLY WAS A MISTAKE ON YOUR PART SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTANTANEOUS. The review is not even deserving of a 1. There are considerably more negative texts that I have received from total ink which I will save for any future needs. But again, not a place deserving of my money, nor will they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are a customer for life. Our screen printing company has been using Total Ink for the last few years for our inks and supplies. We are always satisfied with all of their products, but this review is about CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, & CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We recently had a customer bring us 8000 polypropolene bags to screen print. The ELC ink did not adhere because there was an unknown glossy finish on the bags. With this, I called over to TOTAL INK and spoke with Andrew. Without hesitation, Andrew asked me to ship him a few bags so they could test different substrates to see what ink/additive would adhere to the bag. As soon as he received the bags, he touched base with the owner (Lou) and let us know asap that they would work on it to come up with a solution. Total Ink exhausted every option over a full day, to include over 8 different substrate test prints to try and get us a mixture that would adhere at NO COST to us. Ultimately, it was determined that they would have to be pad stamped. The customer service that Andrew and Total Ink provided to us was second to none. If I'm being honest, I was not surprised. I have reached out to them a few other times with questions or concerns. I've always spoken to Mark or Andrew and they get you answers quick and clearly want to help you. Thank you and we will ALWAYS buy our screen printing supplies from you guys! Joe/owner ALL...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFlash LogoWear has been in this industry since 1989 and has remained loyal to Rutland. Upon discovery of Total Ink Solutions at Atlantic City 2 years ago I decided to give Total a go. I carried 3 or 4 samples back from that show and did some extensive testing with them. Truth be told we DID experience a problem with one of the samples. I contacted Andrew with my findings and together the issue was resolved with the help of the owner and their resident ink specialist. I did read below and there is a post by an unhappy customer. My experience tells me that there was no Pre-Production testing performed and that coupled with a disclosure that they were just starting their business tells the true tale. Lessons that cost money generally are lessons well learned. In this case I suspect that the fledgling operation needed a scapegoat and who better than the ink supplier. I cannot see any parallel between that story and my personal experiences with this outfit. They were attentive to my problem, cordial and technically knowledgeable. Believe me after 27 years I have learned some expensive lessons and I know the difference between a customer sales rep and a technically trained customer sales rep and these folks are the latter. I am currently switching my entire ink inventory to Total Ink Solutions. Give them GO as I did and find out...
