I went here for years and loved it. My last experience however left a very bad taste in my mouth. I have been going to the same stylist here since 2018, and she has always told me to never cut bangs wet since they shrink. Well, on the day I came to get my hair done her blow dryer was not working. Instead of moving me one chair down to the empty seat with a working blow dryer, she took out her frustrations on my hair. She cut my bangs first while they were wet which made them too short and blunt (Iāve consistently gotten a curtain bang, im not sure why this technique was used as weāve never done them like this before.) when I told her of my dissatisfaction she got an attitude and said āWell why didnāt you say something before I did it?ā And I reminded her that sheās the professional, I asked for something else, and that sheās never used this technique on my hair before. I trusted her. I truly thought of this stylist as my friend but I genuinely feel that she took out the frustration of the broken blow dryer on my hair, blamed me, didnāt offer any solution, and then unfollowed me on social media⦠all around unprofessional and uncomfortable for me. I paid $300 to leave the salon less confident then I came in and be blamed for it. I used to love this salon but now Iām just appalled. Iām sorry to Mel and Gina, but I will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePostpartum hair loss almost took me out. I was nearly bald 3in back into my scalp. Took almost 6 months to get it to start filling in where you werenāt seeing straight scalp.
The following year I went through even worse hair loss due to a medication I was on. It was coming out by the handfuls in the shower. Just when I thought I was on the mend and into another year of trying to regrow I went to a different stylist while mine was on maternity leave and absolutely fried my hair and left me with permanent black on the bottom. Talk about a nightmare. While my hairdresser was still on maternity leave I found Stacey Hess who has nursed my hair back to health for over the last year. I have continued to grow and grow this permanent black out so we can quite literally cut it out. My hair has been above my shoulders for the majority of this last year. Short hair is not for me and is a reminder of the mess I have been through with this hair loss season. In the very talented hands of Stacey, she fixed me up with a glow up with 20in bellami wefts that blend like a dream. I am deserving and I feel like Iām glowing. This last year I have continued to do more for me and this is just one of them. Thank you Stacey for this last year of hair healing and Iām so happy weāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all I would like to say that your shampoo bowls are awesome! They are so comfortable. The second part of this is I had base and highlights done with Alex. I brought in a picture for reference. Told her what I wanted and we proceeded from there. After about 2 hours sitting with color on my hair, she shampooed me. She asked what products I preferred, and I told her Pureology. That I definitely did not like Redken. She seemed surprised at this saying that many of her customers preferred Redken. I said that it made my hair dry. She then proceeded to use several types of REDKEN products on my hair. I didn't say anything because I was getting angry and tired. My hair turned out frizzy and I told her I liked the Morrocco oil. They didn't have any so she used a Redken anti-frizz product again! I was extremely disappointed. My hair turned out flat and greasy. She tried to fix it, but it was a lost cause with so much product in my hair. I tried to fix it when I got home but I couldn't. Plus, alot of my blonde highlights are copper/red (as of this morning). I'm not coming in for a re-do because I feel that will damage it more. Listen to your customers. They know what works and...
