Café Del Sol — Restaurant in Hagerstown

The worst service I have ever had at any Café del Sol. We had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for 2 drinks, two different times. Only received them once we ask the waitress and the hostess about the delay. They obviously don’t understand how important It is to be prompted with drinks. Especially when you’re trying to eat your food and have nothing to drink with it. We waited 35 minutes for the bill and had to get “ to go” boxes from the hostess, who spent most of the two hours we were there, on her cell phone. It appeared they were short staffed. We were not the only table upset about the service and when ask to speak to a manager, there was none available. Even though the food was excellent , we probably will never go back to...

I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures, but the food was incredible. we ordered a cheese quesadilla with chicken for my daughter, the tuna, tostadas, fish tacos, and barbecue chicken salad. Everything had so much flavor and the meals had volume. The salad wasn’t just lettuce, chicken and few toppers. It was loaded with beans and corn and pico! Trivia was also very fun and a surprise because we didn’t know that we had come on trivia night. For drinks luckily we got there during happy hour and we were able to enjoy a few watermelon and mango Mojitos. Can’t wait to go back. I’m craving the Ahi...

I have been going to Cafe Del Sol since the first one opened in Greencastle around 20 years ago. I moved out of state many years ago and every time I visit I have to go to Hagerstown and get Cafe Del Sol. This time I went to this new location and it was great!!
