Brought in my Hyundai for service. While I was waiting the 2 service technicals got in to an argument. It got pretty bad and I was going to ask to stop and so I could leave but they had already emptied my antifreeze. The two kept arguing the one taking my information was telling the assistant manager that he was not her boss and he did not sign his her checks and she did not have to listen to him. They continued to argue until my car was done. I paid the bill and left. I got down the road heading down Hwy 100 got almost to National Ave. and an alarm started sounding on my dash board. The screen was flashing red also and said engine overheating. I was blocks from the Hyundai dealership so I pulled in there and pulled it in the service garage the customer service employee asked what was wrong I explained and he said let’s take a look. He also noticed that there was antifreeze all over. He took the cap off the antifreeze container and said it is empty. He went and got a gallon and poured it in as fast as he poured it in it disappeared. He went and got a 2nd gallon and poured that in until it was to the fill line. He asked me to start the car when I started it I went out and watched it go down again he continued to fill it as the car ran. Finally it stopped and he said let the car idle for awhile and see if all looks ok. He said they must not have let the air out of the system and almost have no coolant in the Car. I drove the car straight back to Take5 and explained to the technician what happened he did not seem to concern and said open the hood. He said that he did it correctly and it was full of coolant he noticed it was not at the level it should be and added more coolant. I believe he was not paying attention when doing my service because of the argument with the other employee. I’m now concerned that my vehicle is damaged and could cause me more issues down the road. I would not recommend anyone getting service at this Take 5 if the employees can’t get along and argue in front of customers this is not good business. My can now smells like burnt antifreeze. It made me add a star but this get no stars maybe 1 red star for for overheating my engine. Mark M...
Read moreThis is the first time I have been to this establishment since they changed hands, First, on being directed into the garage the worker was so animated and vocal I was afraid I was driving into the pit. Second, the worker told me the previous owner/manager took some tool needed to unscrew the oil gasket and that he didn't have the right on He said he was going to try a different one, but if it didn't work I would have to "drive down the street and go to the other take 5. Third, He was talking to a co worker most of the time he was supposed to be working on my car. At times he was just standing there talking instead of working. I was thinking if I couldn't get my oil change here, I wish he would just be quiet and get so I can get going. Finally, when he was finished he said I owed 69.99! I have NEVER paid that much for an oil change. I was shocked. He said he didn't set the prices but would take $10 off. Then he said he is not allowed to honor more than one "coupon" but he would take another $7 off. When I left, I called customer service line for the Take 5's. I was told they scan the vin # then put in the oil recommended. In all my years I never even thought there were different grades. Cars are not my thing, I just do what I have to. Also I usually have coupons and pay around $35 so I'm sure I have been getting a lesser grade oil, but this employee never gave he any choice. There was no discussion. My care is 5 years old and has done just fine so far. I left my name and number with the phone rep so someone could call me back. No one has. I felt I was ripped off. Never going...
Read moreStripped out my drain plug and said nothing they can do for it, clearly aware my vehicle's. 100% leaked nothing prior to visit, after it was leaking from plug, took back and said nothing they can do, well there over sized plugs, double oversized and even triple oversized plugs, how does oil change place not stock every option as if this never happens! Pretty common after many oil changes for plugs wear out threads. Like what type cars they think there getting? Any newer car going to dealership. Also was told my coolant over flow was full, by the New Boss I was told, well actually was like 2inches below its full line, yeah still in good marks but clearly not full. Just not a professional establishment by any means! Been going there many years with many car's. Usually do decent job but returning customers are one day gonna have issue's and they are NOT prepared!! Should be trained and ready for ANY possible issue's with an oil change, funny thing that it's NOT much. They then will speak like there so smart on subjects, actions are what's paid for! Completely waste my time and $ going here! Yes my vehicle is back to 100% no leaks, thank god for myself!! Ripped off basically is...
