Went in expecting a nice and chill experience as I’ve had heard good things about about this store Guy upfront hands me stack of pokemon singles and while I look through some things he checks on other stuff, comes back and very confidently asks me where the rest of the stack is assuming I’ve stolen them, doesn’t give me the time to respond and goes checks for cameras. Once he realized his mistake he didn’t even have the courage to look me in the eyes when apologizing. Really awful, embarrassing and sad experience for me. Excellent card shop with plenty of room to play games, a varied and growing selection of inventory, and probably the best front of house staff I have interacted with. Prices are also very fair for sealed product. I mostly come out for Yu-gi-oh right now, but with the amount of new and upcoming TCGs that have interest, and some of the legacy games playerbases picking up I can see myself spending more time at 1st Capital Gaming and enjoying every bit of it.
