I was trying to purchase squash and they all happened to be damaged. I asked the lady at the register if she would be willing to discount them because all of the ones they had on the floor were damaged. She called Eric on the walkie talkie, he said "yes, discount them if they are damaged and there are none left". So, she wasn't able to discount them bc there were more but again, they were all damaged. I asked Eric to "Reconsider marking them down." He said "no because they must have all come damaged and that is how we have to sell." I said "you shouldn't be selling damaged food for full price, they're supposed to be marked down." He then tried to end the conversation by saying, "That's how they come and we just won't sell them to you if you don't want to pay full price." Firstly, I work in customer service and you don't sell food or any product for that matter that is damaged for FULL PRICE. Secondly, I volunteer at nonprofit food shelters and they wouldn't dare donate food to someone that is DAMAGED! Thirdly, customer service Eric.... You are in the business of customer service and I wouldn't come back if I had to deal with a attitude and thought process such as what you demonstrated today. Lastly, the young Hispanic girl needs to stop yelling and doing an abrupt 10 minute, 5 minute, and 1 minite count down until they kick you out the store. It's disrespectful and disturbing. General Management needs to analyze and make changes to customer service upon reviewing this comment.

Went for just a few general items hotdogs, corn chips, and buns I was able to finally find the 1 brand of hotdog buns, which is fine, could never find just regular all beef hotdogs so ended up with cheddar brats, just thought it strange that I couldn't find normal 8 pack hotdogs so got 6 cheddar brats to substitute. Anyways I like Aldi's but if your not a frequent customer then you need to know be ready to substitute your go to brand to something they have they don't usually carry many name brand items, there brand is good so I don't really mind this, a cart is 25 cents you get back once you return it, bring your own shopping bag or you WILL end up buying bags as well. They have some cool non grocery stuff usually like candles, decor, maybe sheets, dog clothes, sometime house shoes, massagers etc. You never know which items you might find, I bought a blow dryer as a gift for an aunt of mine and it still works and does a nice job that was another random find. If you are picky and only want certain things and have a full list and you don't wanna have to substitute then you need to go somewhere else. If your open minded and can switch brands and are good at substituting certain items then Aldi's great and the prices are low. My trip tonight was less then 10 dollars. Oh an yes they usually have pretty good produce

An affordable grocery store chain. It's significantly smaller than large retail stores, I'd say roughly 1/8 the size. They have everything you'd need but limited product choices. (i.e you want toilet paper, there's two to choose from). I always try to shop at Aldi because the prices are much better than other places and you get out quickly. Fyi, if you see something seasonal and you're interested by it then. It'll go quick!

On behalf of an Elder I see after I order from here from time to time for him. if I don't go to my store of choice elsewhere. A recent online order with this store is why I prefer elsewhere. I placed his order on a Thursday Evening and was looking to receive it Friday at the latest by the Afternoon. All day there was 1 msg. of having received the order eary Friday Morning, but that was it. I checked back periodically to see if a shopper had been assigned, nothing. It was around 6 a little after 7 a msg appeared that a shopper was assigned, then I received a message to approve a replacement item.and the order should arrive by 9:30.approx. 2 hours later near 9:30pm I received a message that the order was cancelled! I called to ask why and to speak with a Supervisor and was never connected and was placed on hold and disconnected. So his order was placed on Thursday Evening and Nothing happened in fulfilling it all day and then late that night we get a Cancellation msg. , FF, the next day I ended up at one of my stores of choice and we received our order the same day( fresh, real food and great Customer Service without excess fees) as charged by Aldi per our Experience with them. This would be a last resort store, if I had to recommend...
