We used to love this location, raved about it to friends and even drove out of our way to go to this Taco Casa because the service was great and the store was always clean. Lately the service has really gone down hill. One time we were served a super burrito that fell apart as soon as my daughter unwrapped it. Another time my husband ordered super nachos and specifically asked for them spread out, when he received them every thing was clumped in piles and not spread out at all. Yet another time we spent our entire meal listening to an employee who was on break speak loudly by speaker phone to someone. And then today as I tried to use my free taco coupons from the Rangers game, coupons I have used before without purchasing ANYTHING. The lady taking our order tried to say she could only ring them up with a purchase. I tried to tell her no you dont, I just used some last week without purchasing anything. She rudely interrupted telling me, the customer, "dont tell me no, I'm going to tell you how this works". At that point I promptly took my coupons and my business to another location.
We live in Keller, we have a Keller location, as well as one in Watagua. We eat at the Haltom City location the most. But today was the last straw, we will...
Read moreFirst off, Taco Casa is drunk food!! You know it ain’t great for you and will probably hurt in the morning, but you just keep coming back!
Today I was pretty shocked at my experience. I ordered a super nacho to go, simply, because I don’t like all my food mixed together. The chips were literally tiny crumbs. One of the workers had even taken a taco salad shell and broken into pieces because apparently there wasn’t enough chips to fulfill my order.
The nacho cheese was all over the container and on the bottom of the chips. I ate a couple, but then I realized I should just take this back. Usually I don’t take food back, but I went to the counter and ask if I could have a different set of chips. Even the gentleman who took my order was appalled when he looked at it.
But here’s where it got me. The cook in the back took my plate of chips and poured them back into the large container on the food line.
What!!?!???
To be fair, this location has always been friendly, and dine well with every order…...
Read moreWent by a couple of days ago. Ordered my tacos and tea. I asked where the basket of hot sauce was and was told they put it on the tray. I could already tell this wasn’t gonna be good. As soon as our order was ready, there was only 6 packets of hot sauce. I had several tacos and told the guy that I’m gonna need more than that. I was told they have a new policy that only one sauce packet per taco was given. Excuse me?! I told him that wasn’t gonna work for me. He still refused. So basically I was told no. I know to some it may seem like no big deal, but customers go to eat at places they enjoy and like their food a certain way. This “Taco Sauce Packet Policy” will not go well for this Taco Casa. I even called and left a voice mail for their manager and yet no call back after two days. Ok, Taco Casa, there’s always someone else down the street. You broke the first rule of business. You always take care of your customers...
