Man listen, I called this place MULTIPLE times on Monday 3/24/25. Leaving two voicemails, with no response. I go the leasing office, guy named Ryan sitting in the leasing office. At his computer, with almost all the lights off. My first thought was “damn, wonder why you arent answering the phone while you’re just sitting here”. I tell him what Im looking for. Just for him to tell me to “email him” because he doesn’t know whats exactly available right now. I found that to be odd, considering he is sitting in front of his computer & probably could have just gave me the info then. Tuesday I email Ryan like he asked me too… with no response…. They have this robot that texts you after you call one of their numbers. Ryan decided to text me from that number & asked me to “email him the best number to reach me & he will call me”…. Which made NO SENSE to me, no way he couldnt see my number when he sent me that text.. and lets be honest its 2025, how many numbers do people really have these days once again.. playing games with me. Oh btw.. he NEVER once called my phone. My girlfriend was also calling this place and texting the robot with no response to call backs from her voicemail. I happen to call Hamden Centre at around 3:30 on Wednesday 3/26, Ryan somehow answers. Gives me the run around about how busy he is… how “today would be the day I respond to my emails” .. which come on.. it was 3:30 at that point you weren’t going to respond to anything that day…and WHO DOES THAT? Who gets emails one day and oh yeah i’ll respond on a random Wednesday.. yeah okay Ryan sure. He gives me his personal number, says thats the best way to reach him & he will send me videos of the two apartments he has available… I text him as soon as we get off the phone… take a guess if he sent me anything.. yeah no he didnt.
Ryan first told me the best way to reach him is his email. Then when we spoke on the phone, he said the best way to reach him is his cell phone… then the very last time I spoke to him on Thursday, after driving down to Hamden Centre a second time that week due to no response, he said “the best way to reach me is coming down here honestly” LMFAO.. laughable.
My last straw was on Thursday at 1:30 PM, after I still didnt receive a text message, email or even a call from Ryan after trying to just get information about these apartments for 4 days. Ryan told me he was SUPER busy on Thursday 3/27/25 & was doing tours all day.. and just had no time at all to meet up for a tour.. funny because I decided to once again show up to the leasing office at 1:30 & he was once again sitting in that office. All the lights off but his , in the same spot I left him on Monday. Mind you, I called the leasing office probably 10/15 mins before I showed up & of course he didnt answer.
For Ryan to tell me he was so busy, but to find him in the office. Not even with a client, not even on the damn phone, you sure do look busy. He tells me not to expect an answer immediately… which yeah .. who does?.. but to wait 4 days for an answer after calling, emailing and showing up.. what more do I need to do for a response.
Oh yeah, he finally sends me the two videos of the apartments. I had to ask him for that while I was standing there. I also asked him if he had them on his phone, just to see what he would say.. he did.. which made me wonder what took you so long to send it when I texted you the night before… but hey he didnt even open my message when I texted him my name, nor did he open the message I texted him asking him to please send me the videos before I showed up. He had his read recipts on, so I loved seeing that he was just ignoring me… but the best way to reach you is your cellphone huh? 😭😭

Read moreStarted out poorly. We moved in during the summer of 2015 when it was 90+ degrees outside and our AC was broken. Took them a week to get someone out to fix it, and when they did finally come out they had such a hard time because the circuit breaker was poorly labeled. Our apartment frequently reached 80+ degrees. We were offered no apologies.
Appliances are outdated and inefficient. I could put clean dishes in our dishwasher and they would come out dirty. Management refused to say anything was wrong with it.
The apartments are a hot spot for mold. Mold grows EVERYWHERE in these apartments not just the bathroom, where there is obviously a lot of water, but in the bedrooms as well. It's unbelievable. Our sink drain broke within a couple of months of living there.
They've been through 4+ property managers in the less than 2 years I have been there. No communication at all between management and the renters.
Lights in front of our building on Dogwood Hill are frequently broken, so it is pitch black when you go out at night.
Laundry room constantly floods and the hallways frequently smell like sewage. Management, again, has displayed no desire to fix this.
The only benefits is that it's quiet and close to anything you can need. Shops, services, restaurants, etc. At the end of the day, horribly overpriced for...
Read moreI have lived here for a few years. Jennifer and Julia were always pleasant and addressed any issues in a timely professional manner. Since she left, there have been two other managers, Enrique and now Robert. Enrique was very kind, understanding, and always reachable, whether it was by email or phone. However, this new manager, Robert, is concise and rude. It's almost impossible to reach anyone in that office, and when they finally answer the phone, no one seems to have a clue what is going on and is constantly shifting blame. This new staff is very unprofessional. The other day, the maintenance guy, James, was outside shoveling gravel or dirt, and all I could hear was profanity being exchanged between him and another guy—no respect for the tenants and the children. Our complaints as tenants aren't being addressed promptly and professionally. I am I am beyond disappointed in this new management. The upkeep of the property is nonexistent; pet owners aren't cleaning up after their pets. This is not luxury...
