This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I called here to find out if they still had an old menu item from when I used to work at one of these chains. The woman on the phone wasn't sure whether they did or not but got off the phone and asked someone who told her that yes they did. Turns out when we got here that they did not have it. They had "cheese blintzes" mixed up with "cheese crepes" which aren't the same thing...anyway after going out of our way to get here I didn't eat because they didn't have what I wanted. Our server seemed brand new, meaning confused about everything. My husband ordered a Colorado omelet and my daughter wanted chocolate chip pancakes. The omelet not only looked like a hot mess when it got to us, the cheese wasn't melted on top ..two slices of cheese sat on top of it...no beef in the omelet and that's one of the meats it comes with (and the reason it's a 12 dollar omelet), also no cheese at all through the inside of it. The pancakes were pretty bad as well, but I heard they're the house of burgers now and not pancakes. We called our server back because the omelet was so bad and because my husband specifically ordered hash browns with toast and she only brought hash browns. She brought the omelet back with her after seeming very unsure how to act and telling us that the omelet only came with one or the other...hash browns OR toast. I wish she would have said that while she was writing the order down because he still wanted the toast. Anyway the toast comes and it was burnt...the cook was nice enough to flip the burnt sides over so maybe my husband wouldn't be able to tell. We never got to speak to a manager. No one but our server came to our table after all this. The omelet the second time around was good...and the third try for toast came back cooked well. My daughter barely ate. We felt bad even throwing the pancakes into the complaints, I felt like maybe they thought we made it up because we were being cheap which could have seemed to be the case since I did not get a meal...but that was because my husband took me out to get cheese blintzes which was all that I wanted. My husband and I used to work at an IHOP in Florida and we like to visit one every once and while because it's how we met. After this experience I'll never go back. Glad I'm not that poor server anymore who has to work for a cook who thinks this...
Read moreSince our office discovered they delivered, we've ordered a couple of times. I'm giving a 2 star rating because the first time went smoothly and the staff was nice.
Just today we ordered again, online the same exact way as the first time. the food got here and we gradually discovered things were missing, prepared wrong and we were still charged for it. We were missing sides of ranch, our house salad was the size of a side salad, we were missing an order of hashbrowns, as well as a side of 3 buttermilk pancakes. we were given 2 containers of cream cheese frosting, which didn't pair with anything else we ordered so i'm going to assume someone gave us that instead of the ranch. So, like anyone else we called the store. With a print out of the order in front of me I read off what was missing and prepared wrong (Our chicken sandwich had bacon on it, when we checked off no bacon), and the man on the phone blatantly denied everything I claimed. I was a bit shocked, but then I argued with him about it, citing exactly what was suppose to be with every piece of food ordered. The man finally said fine, but then he said he had no drivers. We said that's fine, and asked if they could send what we paid for when they got a driver. He ignored that and just stated he had no drivers, again. Now we weren't asking for the entire order to be remade, we didn't even ask for the chicken sandwich to be remade, we just wanted 2 cups of ranch, our hashbrowns, and the 3 buttermilk pancakes. The man wouldn't give us an answer on whether or not he'd send it when he got a driver, all he said was he didn't have one. We said that's fine, nevermind, and now I'm leaving this review.
And to the man On staff at IHOP on 787 rt. 33 on Monday afternoon at around 12:45-1:00pm who answered our call;...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!! Went to this location this morning for breakfast, my GF ordered the Waffle Combo and I Ordered The Blueberry Pancake, Egg Combo. Waited longer then usual for the food to arrive and which isn't that bad,but when my food arrived my toast was cold, bacon undercooked and served less than room temp., eggs room temp at best, and hashbrowns all cold, sent it back after verifying w/ steward that brought it from kitchen, who was not my waitress, and he took it back and the second plate of food showed up in the same condition, everything cold to the touch. I went so far as to allow the same server who brought my order from kitchen the first time to touch the cold undercooked bacon and he did and concurred that it was cold. RIDICULOUS AND UNSAFE PRACTICES! When my waitress arrived and inquired as to my complaint after I explained that it happened twice she responded, "it's a crazy mess back there right now", referring to the kitchen. I am a cook and once I heard that admission it told me EVERYTHING I needed to know about this establishment, me being a cook. ABSOLUTELY DISPICABLE when FDA Established Food Safe Standards which have been in place since 1931 cannot even be followed, I sent my meal back and the manager came to my table and had the nerve to charge me for my GF's meal when I sat there and watched here eat and ate nothing. I would shutter the doors till trainiing got caught up. Will be relaying to the Board of Health as well. If I were the manger in this location I would shutter the doors until the inept, and obviously untrained Kitchen staff could grasp the Fundamental Concepts of Food Safety! Norified Corporate and will be forwarding compaint to the Board of Health as...
