Towne & Country Salon — Local services in Hamilton Township

I have been going to this salon for multiple months at this point, but have been with my stylist for nearly two years. I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for both fantastic stylists and a great salon. Everyone is friendly and professional and make you feel extremely welcomed.

Let me start by saying that I've had my fair share of disappointing experiences with stylists in the past, so finding Kennedy was amazing. Kennedy has always listened attentively to my concerns and desires and takes the time to truly understand what I am looking for. It's rare to find a stylist who goes above and beyond to ensure that every client feels heard and valued, but Kennedy does just that. As someone with blond hair and a love for extensions, I'm always a bit apprehensive when finding stylists and a salon. However, Kennedy's expertise and skill put me completely at ease. Not only does she always nail the color, but also always does great work with my extensions.

To say I was nervous to try out this salon is an understatement. I don’t like change and have gone to my current stylist for years but she moved salons and isn’t as convenient anymore and I really wanted a fresh perspective on my hair. I’m also super picky and OCD and it needs to be cut dry. The owner made me feel completely at ease and worked with me through some cancellations due to health reasons which I really appreciated. I finally got in and the stylist (I can’t remember her name!) took her time and allowed me to tell her what I was looking for, the kind of hair I had, how I styled it, etc. I kind of let her do her thing and I ended up with a lopsided haircut (I have shorter hair) which my fiancé and all my friends really liked! I was unsure about it but it’s grown on me! And who knows maybe next time we’ll try something new! I went in with long hair below the shoulders, was trying to grow out all the highlights and just go natural. Showed Kim pictures of several hair styles both short and shoulder length and I asked her to combine the front of the short and the back of the shoulder length. When I looked up I tried to calmly state it was looking a little short and she said it would stretch when dried; no it doesn't stretch when dried it shrinks - it stretches when wet. So I ended up with hair just below my ears both front and and a little shorter in back... Very disappointed with the whole experience.
