Waited for 5 minutes at the drive thru speaker for someone to come on but they never did. We gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they didn’t hear us, so we pull up and there’s one woman in there, the red head. We had to have sat there for at least 15 minutes at the window before she finally opened it. She looked over at us 4-5 times dead in the eyes and then continued to pretend like she was busy as soon as we made eye contact. She had zero customers inside and no one else came in so I’m pretty sure she was just trying to wait us out to see if we would leave. Then as soon as my fiancé and I started talking about how we weee gonna write a bad review(which neither of us have ever done before), she pops up at the window and she’s like “I’m sorry” and then just looks at us waiting for us to say something. Also, we got there at 5pm and they close at 9pm so it’s not like we were cutting it close to closing time. I’ve worked at a coffee shop before so I’m aware there’s other things to do in there besides wait on customers, but is folding napkins and wiping random things for 15 minutes seriously more important than at least coming to the window to let us know you’ll be with...

Well, the response said I was helped by a male and I wasn't, so take their response with a healthy dose of salt. I stand by my comments. I love coffeehouses and cappuccinos, but this place needs some staff training. Rude, condescending, and patronizing. The cappuccino I received was ridiculously teeny, cold, overpriced, and bitter. I was lectured by 2 rude employees about how I don't understand what a cappuccino is and told I was wrong, so basically my reaction made me a Karen. I heard them making fun of me as I walked back to my table and don't get me started on their eye rolls. The saving grace was the tasty lemon muffin and cute decor, but I won't go back. Someone really needs to show a customer the thimble-size cups they use to make their version of a cappuccino and maybe the owner needs to visit some other businesses to see how the rest of the world makes a cappuccino, because they don't know. Do...
Read moreThe Winans location in Maineville is my favorite place to buy coffee. The staff is welcoming and it is a pleasure to do business with them. However, with Corporate's new rules, we are getting the short end of the stick. Did you know that the gift card you buy for yourself isn't linked to your telephone number, so you lose points? Did you know that you MUST remember to give the staff your phone number BEFORE you give your order, or you lose points? So, when you roll in to buy your morning coffee, all bleary-eyed and planning for your day, you have to also remember to give your phone number first. The staff is not to be blamed for this, given the constant changes corporate makes. I will continue to support the franchisees here in Maineville because they are only trying to keep up with the ever-present changes and they are good people. I just want Corporate to know that you stink! Those five stars are for the...
