We have been to 12 Degrees many times and always enjoy it and will still go back. But tonight we went (9/26/2025) and when we tasted the vanilla ice cream we got with our Italian Ice we noticed it was bitter. Upon telling them it didn’t taste right the woman said “yea I know, it hasn’t had a good cleaning in a while. I was on vacation and haven’t had time to clean it.” She didn’t initially offer to replace anything (3 out of the 4 of us had the ice cream with our Italian Ice) but she did offer to put a different flavor ice cream with my flight, but I only like vanilla so I said no thank you. She never asked if the others who had vanilla ice cream if they wanted theirs remade without ice cream. But I think what bothers me most is they continued to sell the ice cream even after they had made aware it tasted bad. While we sat there, at least 5 people ordered the ice cream and not a word was said. We love their Italian Ice, I’m just disappointed they would sell something knowing something is...
Read moreKept seeing people talk about this place on the chowdown Cincinnati page and i finally had to go give it a try. Totally worth the 30 minutes trip. I'm a huge apple lover so i couldn't pass up the caramel apple float, especially considering they use my favorite cider from Irons fruit farm, it was delicious! My sister and nephews got a flight so they could try several flavors and no one was disappointed in any of the flavors they went with. Definitely worth checking out, also the workers were SO friendly, they were patient and let us take our time since we were first timers and couldn't decide, and gladly let us sample any flavor we wanted to try. Hoping I can go one more time before they close for the season, if not I'll definitely be going back...
Read moreMy husband and I took our boys there tonight and had a wonderful experience! The owners are so friendly and explained all of the options with flavors and so forth right away. They hand make all of the Italian Ice, which is so unique and delicious! We were expecting more of a snow cone experience, but this is NOT that- it's kind of a mix of ice and ice cream if that makes any sense. We got Peanut Butter Cream and it was awesome. We're excited to go back and try their fruit flavors in the summer when it warms up. They also had "magic" spoons that turned blue with the cold and white again with heat- my boys were really impressed to say the least. Overall, we were really excited to discover 12 Degrees and will...
