Radioshack — Local services in Hamilton

BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. They do not stand behind their products and their customer service is TERRIBLE!! We purchased a rock crawler from them 3 weeks ago for our 8 yr old grandsons birthday. We charged iy before wrapping it and it wasn't working. Bill went down to see what they could do. They gave him a hard time, tried to claim user error,and then discovered battery wasn't working, so they replaced it. Took it home and wrapped it. My grandson opens it last night and it would not stay in reverse. Took it down first thing this morning. Again customer service claims user error, then discovers it won't stay in reverse. Says she can not do an exchange without manager code. Calls manager and he says once it is set on ground they wont return. I asked her to call owner, he doesn't answer. She sends us on our way with a broken toy that she won't stand behind. This was a $200 purchase. They also put your card on file when you purchase Starlink. If your card is compromised and you need to give them a new one, they charge you $100 dollars to switch the card. Horrible customer service! The owner and his sister are shiesty and liars. They don’t follow their written return policy on the receipt. Do not purchase an indoor antenna for your TV there they will not accept returns even though verbally was told by the sister they would and on the receipt is well within the return policy. Instead they want you to purchase a more expensive outdoor antenna in exchange only and say they won’t accept any returns. If you try to tell them about their written policy on the receipt will say you have a bad attitude and are arguing and refuse to help. Refused to also give a refund for another item on the same receipt. The owner is trying to steal from people and has horrible customer service. If I could, I would put no stars. Apparently if you open the tv box RadioShack will not return or exchange at ALL. But an elderly friend of mine bought a TV from RadioShack and all she did was take it out of the box and turn it on and it wasn’t working……She took it back to RadioShack to exchange it and they won’t exchange it or even give her money back…. they said it’s her fault that the TV broke!!!
