Food Lion — Local services in Hampton

The pharmacist today kept interrupting me . She was trying to talk over me so I kept talking as well. This was over a transfer. I ended up calling back and the lady with red hair was telling me what I did or did not say. Told me I was yelling at the pharmacist because I was on speaker phone and she heard our conversation. First of all noone should have someone on speaker phone while discussing medications or anything else I believe that should violate hipaa law Any customer could have heard our conversation. Such as hearing name , birth date, the medication. Then the red hair lady hung up on me said she didn't. And proceeded to tell me this call is being recorded. OK I didn't threaten anyone , I don't work at Food Lion and I don't give a **.. She acted as though I was all in the wrong. Trying to score points with the pharmacist I'm guessing because if she heard one she heard the other. I wanted to give this pharmacy a chance again after leaving them for not answering phones, not notifying you if they had to order your meds like they informed me when I called. Seizure meds Wow!! I had everything transferred somewhere else. Sometimes 2nd chances...

Loved it since it was Farm Fresh. There are still many of the same employees. We use our neighborhood location and the location near work! The fried chicken recipe is very similar to FF, and the chicken tenders are on point. The price is too high, as is everything in our inflated world. Staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the expiration of rewards before redemption. Rewards should not expire when we spend hard earned money to earn the rewards. The prices should not be so drastic without the use of an mvp card. In my opinion, the price should reflect the mvp special pricing every day, and the mvp price should be less than the average price for the product. I have noticed many times that when items ring up, they do not reflect the mvp or sale price, or even the everyday price, for that matter. There have been multiple occasions where I have been overcharged...

I went here to buy groceries for my week on a Sunday. I’m still new to food lions and was disappointed at the service. I had my headphones in and went to the self checkout to checkout. I was minding my own business when a middle aged woman, I believe her name tag said Vivian, waved to get my attention. She told me to put my groceries in a cart to speed things up (because apparently I wasn’t moving fast enough for her). I was on my phone setting up my mvp card for the first time and trying to get my groceries together. I wasn’t aware the self checkout had time limits. I felt extremely rushed and for the remainder of my time there I felt hovered over and watched by Vivian. She stood next to me and stared at me half the time. It was unpleasant and needless to say I’ll find myself going to any other food lion now. Or anywhere where I can...
