Update to my previous post below:
First I edited my first comments to make them readable and not misleading. The store owner Phillip Michael personally called me to discuss my concerns. He explained that Phillip Michaels Fashions’ goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction. He also stated I could have contacted him directly with my concerns and the matter would have been resolved. I took the suits to the Poplar Drive location as he asked where I met with him and showed him the poor quality of work on the suits. Mr. Phillip had his master tailor Donnie Hanchard to look at the suits and re-take my measurements. I received the suits back and I was very pleased with the result. Because the pants legs were too short, Mr. Hanchard sewed faux rolled hems on them and they were perfect. If you saw the suit you could never tell that they were not made that way.
My experience with the owner, Phillip Michael, the way he handled the situation, and the work done by Mr. Hanchard has renewed my confidence in the store. He looked me right in the eye and took full responsibility for the situation and made it right without hesitation. If I could change one thing, it would be to have reached out to him before posting my initial comment regarding the Hampton store and giving him an opportunity to rectify the situation. Thank you Phillip Michael for being a class act and valuing/appreciating your customers.

I purchased four 2-button suits from the Hampton store in April 2015. I paid to have them altered there locally since I could just pick them up when they were ready. I didn’t ask for them to be rushed so the lady took my measurement and gave me a receipt to pick them on stated date. When I picked them up it was like the scene from the Cosby show when Denise made Theo a Gordon Gartrell shirt. The pant legs were not even, the waist were too big, and the belt loops in the rear were missing. I took them back and after waiting a week and a half I got them back and again they were not right. On one pair of the paints the seamstress tried to make a belt loop with material she had cut from the leg. After taking that pant back again the store ordered me another suit. After the alteration it was passable but certainly not what I am accustomed to. I keep these suits stored in the back of my closet as backup if I am going somewhere dark and the blemishes will not be noticeable. I guess I would have been okay because frankly, I didn’t pay that much for the suits (less than a grand). My problem was that everyone I spoke with about the matter blamed someone else. I heard every excuse from our regular tailor was not there to we sent your clothes out to be tailored. That bothered me therefore, I felt it was necessary for me to let others know not to shop there if you are expecting quality. I will say this is not the case with all the stores because I have purchased items from the Norfolk store without any issues. The Jamaican tailor knows what he is doing and my...

She had an excuse why they were not ordered so I drove another 2hr to the store picked out another set that was never ordered. She eventually ordered a different shoe that we didn't ask for but the wedding was three days away then so we settled for them. She had the tailor make our masks out of the extra fibers that we had removed from our suits. And charged us twice for them. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND that store to anyone....
