My honest review of this lovely shop.
I was recommended this shop by a sweet sister from church, and as someone who loves supporting faith-based small businesses, I was eager to visit. I had followed them on Instagram and was genuinely touched by the scriptures and uplifting posts they shared about Jesus. it’s always such a joy to see the Lord being honored publicly.
When I heard they were moving away from darker themes and embracing a Christ centered direction, my heart rejoiced. We all have our journeys, and I believe in grace and transformation. Visiting the shop, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who was just lovely and clearly passionate about their work. There were truly beautiful pieces inside like crosses, prints praising His name, and some heartfelt reflections of faith. It really did bring a smile to my face.
A few remnants of their past theme were still lingering. Demonic Characters like Beetlejuice and others that reflect a more gothic or even occult aesthetic were present. childlike figures dressed as a devil and witch from the nightmare before christmas could be seen while I was walking around. everyone expresses their faith in different ways, but for me personally, it was a bit spiritually conflicting. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” (1 Corinthians 14:33). I believe in letting people walk their own path and trusting the Lord to do the rest.
I truly wish this business nothing but blessings and continued growth in faith. I love that they are leaning more into the light. After all, “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)

Read moreWhen I first went into Beautifully Damaged I was like Wow what did I just walk into. Just by its name alone I knew I had to go see what it offered. The store is probably one of the most unique stores I have ever been to, there is so much variety in the products. I love that there is older furniture that get redesigned into beautiful pieces to be proudly displayed in your home. The antiques and memorable stuff in the store is just amazing and stuff you might not always find in such good shape and a good price. The store also offers different paint nights and most are kid friendly. I took my daughter to a mother daughter paint night and as promised there was fresh tea, cookies and we painted a mad hatter style teacup. If you love The Nightmare before Christmas then this is your store, there is always a variety of different items. I always tell my friends to check it out and not one of them has been disappointed. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome every...
